Gordon Bombay
Today I am proud to announce PKICentral's new film: THE COASTERS OF Kings Island! The site has huge plans for the offseason. Tired of spending your time trolling fan site forums, dusting your PKI souveneirs, or dare I say working....in the offseason? Well stay tuned to PKICentral because we have LOTS of surprises, exclusive content, and much much more coming in the offseason to hold you over untill PKI resumes operation for the 2007 season! The Coasters of Kings Island will be a half hour long, dvd quality documentary on the history of Kings Islands coaster collection and its current collection. With info taken from guest, internet, and variosu polls, the coasters have been ranked by the general public in order of their popularity. You are the ones who chose your favorites. The video stars the parks own marketing spokesperson Maureen Kaiser and features video clips exclusive to PKICentral.com, videos and media you wont find on ANY other fan site, or amusement park site for that matter. You will see: -Never before seen historical footage -Angles of the rides never seen by the public before, including those on special event tours. -New information and facts -sneak peeks into the maintenance and construction of the coasters. -Select, never before heard, tracks from the upcoming Combat Stupendous release. and so much more! Along with this post I have released a teaser trailer for the movie: You can view the lower quality versions on my site and on youtube or feel free to download the higher quality trailer. Windows media player or a .wmv compatible player is required to view the trailer. You can get it for free here. Teaser Trailer: Low Quality Teaser Trailer: Youtube Link Teaser Trailer: High Quality As always stay tuned to pkic for more updates, and I hope to hear some feedback soon as well as meet some of you at PKIC day this weekend to kick off the offseason. It sould be a great time! Regards, -Ronny Salerno Note: The trailer as well as the full length feature do include exclusive footage as well as POV footage. The POV footage is stock footage distributed to the media by the park and was taken by the park itself. All other footage was taken WITH park permission. Special thanks to PKI's marketing team and their Rides and Operations department. *Special thanks to The Klockster for hosting me!*

CoastersNSich
Will this feature the lost tapes of "Channing Tatum?"
Gordon Bombay
^The full feature is currently being wrapped up and edited with feedback from the PKIC staff and contributors. The a free, high quality, full length version will be available to all PKIC members sometime this offseason and Ryan and I are throwing around some ideas to possibly sell a full quality DVD that will include some added extras you cant find on the net, or anywhere for that matter. No matter what though, it will definently be available free once the full and final version is released but the DVD + Extras idea is still being tossed around. Gordon Bombay
Will this feature the lost tapes of "Channing Tatum?" Funny you should mention that, as I was throwing the trailer together tonight I came across those hillarious tapes. Unfortuanently a few of the segments were lost due to the tape being a poor TDK tape that cuts out after the first 15 minutes of recording but I do have some of your channing tatum inpressions. Who knows, maybe they'll find their way into the bonus content of the dvd version or maybe they'll be on the net soon. But yes I do have them if youd like them. The Interpreter
The trailer is excellent! Folks, Ronnie does some of the best stuff available anywhere! You just gotta watch this! And a DVD perhaps coming? What a great idea!
UncleHenry
Good teaser Ronny. And don't forget, this is a PKIC project. Certain designers-in-training may be helping this documentary in some way with his design skills...
BoddaH1994
Ronny has been working very hard on this for several months now. I have not seen any of the footage yet, but I'm sure it's going to be top notch.

flightoffear1996
Just wondering how did you get that POV nice and steady like that.
Vortex
Just wondering how did you get that POV nice and steady like that. The POV was taken by the park. I am not sure what they use but the older media tape I have is also nice and steady.
flightoffear1996
if you got it from the park i am asmusing that he got written persmiision to use that footage. Also I am sure he got written permission from the band that made that song.
RailRider
The trailer looks great. Will the video also include special events like FearFest and WinterFest? Cant wait for the final product. Also I watched the YouTube trailer and after that checked out the Alarm Klock. That was hillarious Also Combat I watched the Letter From Iraq. Very Nicely Done... Captain Nemo
Also I watched the YouTube trailer and after that checked out the Alarm Klock. That was hillarious lol, it's great to see that people watch my videos! He's talking about this video.. Ronny, This would make a great discount idea if you make a DVD for those going on the PKIC trip. -Man, PKIC is the roxors. And only at PKIC can you get these things. Also I am sure he got written permission from the band that made that song. Why actually, I sure did, unlike certain Flight of Fear fans who like to take illegal POV's and post them in an asylum that gets no views Railraider, the video will include some footage of some of the coasters with the fearfet decorations set up and some taxi jam footage while it was operating during this past winterfest. Since the film will focus more on the history of the coasters and not the actual park (although maybe a new film such as that will be out eventually muwahaha) theres just bits and clips of fearfest and winterfest. KIBeast
Awesome trailer, Combat! Can't wait to see the final product. Does this mean that there is footage of The Bat in there somewhere? Gotta see that! The Flight of Fear footage is outstanding. Great job!
Avatar
Ronny; I know a little about the great lengths that you went through to get to this point. I am impressed with you talking the time to do a top notch video. Keep up the great work I look forward to the finished product. Also if you decide to go ahead with a DVD please put me down for a copy.

Gordon Bombay
On sunday I will be meeting with Ryan and the rest of the gang at 11 A.M. under the tower and will be filming throughout the day as we go around the park riding rides. Theres a few more coasters i need to wrap up just a few small shots on so any of you could be lucky enough to get into the video. Not only will this film be coming out this offseason but just yesterday my self and a few other contributors/staff members were able to participate in something quite interesting that has lead to a short film that I will be able to release soon, most likely sooner than coasters of KI and while I cant tell you any details yet, lets just say its a little "too close for missles."
