As for Nick Theater, they have already added a rather large wooden stage and seating back into theater. It may not seat as many as it used to, but at least there is a show there again!

You guys never cease to amaze me. We're getting five awesome new shows and we're talking about logos being painted on the ground??

Would you rather them talk about a wooden fence? cough::pointbuzz::cough :P

I can tell you what's next. KI will have an annual release which will make your tummy smile. :P

That sounds interesting... Could you give us an estimate on how long it'll be till we know?

I'm excited they are bringing more live shows back into the park. That's also great news that they have added a stage, and seats back to the Nick Theater, removing those was a big mistake in my opinion.

I realize this is a probably a dumb question...but is the "Nick Theater" the outdoor amphitheater they built when "Splat City" originally opened, or is that the current name of the children's theater next to SDATHC?

I've kind of lost track of the theater names (which has been easy to do due to the lack of shows over the last few years), and I never went deeper into Nick Central than Avatar last year...

Yes, it is in the very very back of Nick, kinda hidden.

^ Ok, thanks, I understand which one they're talking about now...

They filled it in? Meaning, they removed the seats, stage, and basically made it a roof covered concrete slab? Why in the world would they have done that?

Good Job to Cedar Fair for the 35th anniversary of Kings Island they bring back entertainment, and bring a new roller coaster . So far just from reading this will be a great season:

KI still brings in over 3 million people a year which is still pretty darn good. At one point in time KI was the most visited Seasonal Theme Park, but your right Canada's Wonderland did beat KI one year.

I would go if they rasied the prices up to 250 bucks a year for season passes......KI is the place for me, if it is a day of rides, or just to sit around and people watch, it has a great atmosphere.

hmm, thats like 8 visits to get your moneys worth if you go with the $32.00 price on the website...I guess Id take it too, since I go about 20 times a year, sometimes more. But thats pretty steep for a seasonal park. Lets hope that if we see that day, that KI has 159 rides and attractions on 550 acres with more room to expand....that would be simply awesome! (As long as the atmosphere is maintained of course)

lol.. I agree.

I rarely ever stay a whole day at the park. I live so close we go 3 times a week or so sometimes more. Stays are usually about 4 hours in normal mode. Let me know when you are there sometime corey I will buy you a beer At bubba Gumps.

I do not actually drink alot but I like to have a few at Bubba Gumps. So if anyone ever wants to know if I am in the park just go to the back patio and yell out "BUCKLER". You can find me that way...hehehe

I wish they would just add mega mess a mania back to the theater. I used to love the one at great america (if anyone has any video or pictures of that show, please let me know!). Slime needs to be reintroduced back to nickelodeon, so They could make it look like a 21'st century mad scientists lab with green and orange splats on some of the machines. If only they could retheme the nick u area to be four different areas all contained in nick u. there would be an updated splat city, the runaway reptar, river adventure, and phantom flyers as part of nicktoons corner, the avatar area as nickelodeon central: where nicktoons live, and the rest as nick Jr neighborhood. At least they added the show back to the nick theater!
