corn4ahead Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 The lines were minimal and FH had the bottom halves of the supports painted a metalic silver along with the track being completed. I also only waited like 2 minutes to get my Maxx Pass processed. Quote
cincyboy0830 Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 I love how fast King's Island processes season passes. Quote
The Interpreter Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Yes, but was this processing a season pass or just exchanging the temporary pass for the more permanent plastic card? Quote
corn4ahead Posted April 28, 2007 Author Posted April 28, 2007 I got there at 9:30 and the pass proceesing was open. When i was on FoF i saw the old King Kobra trains in the building while i was rideing it. Makes me wonder. Quote
CoastersRZ Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Don`t count on it returning at KI or any other park for that matter. Yep, Flight of Fear had some of the work lights on today, which was the exact opposite of last week when there were no lights on at all in the drum (either work lights or the normal show lights). westcoaster Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Yes me and the family were there today so much fun. We rode the log flume evens (very short Ride.) Great day to go to the Park today, everything was looking great. Quote
OHpki Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 I just got back around an hour ago. The park was great! The longest lines that I waited in were only about a half hour. And it took less then five minutes for me to get my Maxx pass! Quote
corn4ahead Posted April 29, 2007 Author Posted April 29, 2007 I waited 1/2 for Delerium and that was the longest. Quote

ohhs02highlander Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 I will be there saturday but will be working...lol...as i have every hour we've been open so far...lol Quote
The Interpreter Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 There's this little park in West Virginia that opens Saturday. I try to hit as many opening days as I can. http://www.camdenpark.com Click the view commercial tab! I like the ad, but would like it more had not a former owner sold off the original carousel horses some years back, and replaced them with ALUMINUM ones! Sigh! Quote
I_heart_pki Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 I live about 15 minutes away from Camden Park. I wish I lived only 15 minutes away from The wonderful Island. Quote
SPYDER479 Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 You guys are very lucky to live so close to KI. I used to live in Indiana, about 2 hour drive from the park. I used to drive at least 4 times a year to go, but now I live in St Louis, and let me tell ya, Six Flags STL is the worst...is the epitome of everything wrong with the SF Company. I renewed my pass 3 months ago, so I did not have to wait in line to get my pic taken. This past Sunday, I spoke to a few people getting new passes, and they had to wait in line for 4 hours. It is Ridiculous! And also, you could not go on a ride without it closing every half an hour because of some minor glitches in the systems. I understand the park just opened so they're still not fully prepared, but...COME ON!!!!! I miss living close to KI!!! Quote
corn4ahead Posted May 3, 2007 Author Posted May 3, 2007 I live about an huor away from KI. It aint that bad of a drive. Quote
Dalefan Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 I got there at 9:30 and the pass proceesing was open. When i was on FoF i saw the old King Kobra trains in the building while i was rideing it. Makes me wonder. They keep them in the building to store them. Along with maybe a old FOF train. Last time i was down on the floor doing a tour they had one. Quote

Vortex Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 there are old FoF trains??? Yes but just the frames, not to much to look at. Quote
