The Sean Hannity Cincinnati Freedom Concert is Thursday, August 9 at 7pm in Kings Islands 10,000-seat Timberwolf Amphitheater. The artist line-up features Montgomery Gentry, LeAnn Rimes and Lee Greenwood. Sean Hannity will host the concert and will be joined by talk radio personalities Ollie North, WLWs Bill Cunningham and other WKRC personalities. Tickets for the event are $70 per person and include all day in the park plus reserved seating at the Freedom Alliance Concert, which begins at 7 p.m. Season passholders can purchase concert tickets for $60, and must be purchased at the park. Not only do I like listening to Sean, but also country music, and Montgomery Gentry is a great act! Apparently Mark Levin "GET OFF THE PHONE, YOU BIG DOPE" is supposed to be there too. And yes, the great cause, that allows children of fallen soldiers to get a college education! If you can't attend the concert, you can still donate to the Freedom Alliance. And if you happen to be in another part of the country, there will be four other Freedom Concerts this summer: Dallas, San Diego, Atlanta, and Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. Will be like the glory days of timberwolf back in the 80's, you can have a beer while you watch the concert! You could say that Sean Hannity is controversial, just as Paramount (and related owners) were to Kings Island. I hope we can see several KIC'ers at this event, whether you like: Hannity, country music, or supporting the troops (and families)... one or two of them, or all three! But we all should go if we have the extra 60 dollars around and like Country music, and would like to support the troops' children. That is what this is about, touching lives and taking in a concert. Since when did politics have a greater moral grasp on us than our faith or our philosophy? If you like country and want to support the troops you should attend, regardless of political convictions. I just don't understand why we must allow politics and hatred or disdain to keep us from achieving greater goals. If some of you dont remember racism kept us from goals in the past. And yes I will say it, it seems that politics has become the new racism, IMO. Hope to see you guys there, I love MG and will more than likely be there! Wouldn't a more appropriate foil to Hannity be Al Franken, Ed Schultz, Stephanie Miller, or one of the other liberal talk show hosts? After all, Sean Hannity is not an elected official or any where near third in line to the Presidency. Yes, politics have become amazingly devisive over the last several years. Unfortunately, extremist talk radio (on both the left and the right) does everything they can to keep those fires stoked in the interest of ratings. I often wonder if people even believe some of the outrageous things they say on those shows.
