In Nickelodeon Universe and in Action Zone.

Cool B) Thanks

In Nickelodeon Universe and in Action Zone.

Where is it in Action Zone? I've been to the one in Nickelodeon Universe.

In the Action Zone, they sell soft serve ice cream at the Ice Scream Zone. It is the building that is located immediately adjacent to Delirium`s exit (on the right when exiting Delirium).

Ah, okay. I think I know where you're talking about.

It is still there and still just 'meh' to me. Tastes like blue berries + vanilla. I only bought it at the employees lounge for $1.

I really, really like the frozen custard at Cedar Point...not the soft serve ice cream over by Disaster Transport, but the frozen custard served in the middle of the midway by the fountain. YUM!

I have never had Cedar Point's frozen custard, but to me, frozen custard in general is better than soft serve or regular ice cream. Too bad the closest place to NKY that serves it is Culver's all the way up in West Chester. <_< It definitely sounds good right about now... :D

Ritter's is what got me hooked on frozen custard. I might even like it better than Culver's, but again, I only get treated to it when we are in the area of one, because there aren't any around Northern KY.

How much does a blue icecream cone set you back at KI now? I haven't paid any attention to the prices this year.

OMG that is crazy. I don't know if I'll get any or not. I may have to rob a bank first. LOL j/k of course. But that is outrageous for an ice cream cone.

Yes that is true. Just for one meal in the park for myself cost anywhere between 8 and 11 dollars. I know it's a theme park, but I just don't see how people are affording this, without taking out a second mortgage, with how high gas prices are too.

Something tells me that more and more many guests will be packing a cooler OR not coming as often or perhaps not again this season (or ever, for that matter).

I still think the food pricing is going to have a long term impact on this business.

Don't be rushing to type about food pricing at ballgames, theatres, etc., as many in the target audience have quit going to those venues due to pricing issues.

Yes they are I can't agree more with that. Compared to other theme parks, such as Universal, Busch Parks, or even Disney Parks, KI and CF's food prices are way above theirs. The quality of the food isn't all that great either. I wish KI still had the Guest Feedback system cause I know I would love to take a survey now about food. I'm sure everyone else would too.

That is true, but I could see Happy Days being turned into either a Johnny Rockets, or a Coasters Restaurant. They could do it.

Not all Johnny Rockets have table service. One was just put in at Six Flags Great Adventure....it's a grab and go. And a very small one at that.

Of the two, I'd much rather see Johnny Rockets than Coasters. The food quality is far better, and there is grand entertainment. Coasters offers lower quality food (by comparison) at similar prices, sans entertainment.

The eatery formerly known as Huckleberry Dairy still sells Blueberry ice cream. According to the park map, the place is now called, "Ice Cream".

I miss the signage and theming of the old place, but the ice cream tastes just as good.

Chef, you of ALL people should know it is imitation soft serve.

It is NOT ice cream.

Sigh.

Either way it's still tasty, although a bit pricey. That, and the Smurf ride used to be my absolute faves of KI. 3.59 is not too bad for "Frozen Milk Treat." I regularly pay more than that for Coldstone Creamery. But that's another topic, for another day. Coldstone trumps the "Blue Ice Cream" by about 23 in my book.

Anyone remember the Raspberry they tried the first year of Phantom Theater? They had so many complaints that the Blueberry Ice cream was gone that they brought it back. That ice cream shop in NU has been named so many things over the year. Dinos Delights (think pink ice cream). Huckleberry Dairy (think blue ice cream).
