Featured Replies

I know it doesnt make any sense and thought alot of similar thoughts just mainly wanted to see if anyone else heard any similar type of talk! The person i heard it said thats what she heard the workers talking about. Seriously though if it was a parking lot they wouldn't tease about it! I didnt know just figured i would share and see if anyone else heard of any other talk about it!

  • Hmm... Maybe I'm thinking too big here, but one of my favorite of Universal's Halloween Horror Nights events was in 2002, when the event took over Universal's Islands of Adventure. Basically, as night

Don't look at me, I haven't heard anything. (And even if I had, I wouldn't tell you anyway! )

Or it could be nothing at all, as this is from Screamscape and a BlogSpot account after all... Watch, but be patient.

ScreamScape haha

I remember posting a thread about the relocation of Slaughterhouse because Chicken Shack took over. KingsislandPR telling me it will be relocated. Maybe they are putting it there? It seems rather small though... Hmm

Maybe it's just a little nosh stand, the park has been focusing on the menu more.

Surprised there has been no updates or new photos. Guess I'll have to check it out Monday first hand.

I took this when I was there Tuesday, but hadn't posted it yet. They've ripped the whole area up pretty good so far (it is now hard to tell what parts are what), and seemed to be digging quite deep for some sort of trenches (that's what is shown in that photo). That makes me wonder if plumbing will be coming to the new building.

So, possibly food or restrooms?

Maybe they'll let us know during our tour Monday, but probably not.

If they put restrooms back there before they did in X-Base I'm sure plenty of people on here would have a few comments to make.

Trench that has been dug could be to access utilities.

I was thinking a sprinkler system, specifically.

Blue flags are for potable water, red/orange typically electrical/cabling

If used for drinking fountains and near a restroom area.....It better be potable water! :P

2 business types are currently checking out the dig site. They are walking on the built dirt mound and one is signaling something, either a queue line r wall. Then he walked a few straight lines signaling something

Again, what footers? I don't see any in that picture.

That sir isn't concrete, and also has a ladder protruding through the middle

RIght next to it is a water main for the fire dept, they are probably accessing the utilities as discussed earlier regarding this work area

Oh wow how did I not see that there are no footers

Hmmm. I thought he was referring to what appears to be a footer lying in the dirt near the bridge....lol

Oh, yes, those are footers. Kings Island's building a roller coaster in a tiny field right next to The Beast. World's shortest inverted coaster.
