Well, I've heard that.....
1 -The Vortex is sinking
2 - Numerous people died on The Bat
3 - the Eiffel Tower is gonna be moved across the highway to make room for other rides
4 - People were killed on Son of Beast
5 - Screamscape is credible
6 - The Dippin' dots guys know everything
7 - Almost every ride attendant has a relative that knows everything about the park's future
feel free to add to my list!
Kudos to these guys for the hard work they do. Glad to see they're getting some recognition.

Hi guys! As some of you may know, I am going to Northern Kentucky University to major in Media Informatics, with a focus on web design. After taking many, many general education credit hours, i finally started taking classes for my major. Right now we are beginning to work on our final website projects for my Media Web Coding class. My site is called "The Coaster Station". It is a website that features some of my favorite roller coasters. Keep in mind this is a work in progress. Most links don't work right now on the page. It's just the home page, and the contact page. I just wanted you guys to check it out and give me your opinions! Thanks!

Well said Zombie. Watching this thread for the past 6 pages gives the impression that alot of people here havnt been outside of Ohio. Why is CF doing this? Because they're watching the other parks make money off of it. Relax..everyones going to get to ride. As far as Kings Island not being a vacation destination as stated earlier, my family will be visiting from FL in July. Guess we're the only tourists.
I just happened to be on the KI webcam page just after 8o'clock this morning and the WindSeeker webcam flashed an image briefly. It was like they were testing the video feed or setting the camera. I didn't get a screen capture fast enough, but I could swear I saw 2 flat rides where the grassy area in front of BLSC used to be. I wish I could tell you what they were, but I don't know enough about them. After about 15 seconds, the camera went dark again. Then they started messing with the on screen graphics. They were cycling through things like time, temperature, Date, ride wait times, and what rides were down. I can't wait for KI to get it up and running.
Cavern of Terror has an elevator lift for guests requiring a wheel chair as well as wheel chair accessible exits throughout the attraction.
The other "floors" are just catwalks.
I understand but there is potential to make them into actual floors It is probably more money than they would want to pour into the building, but it could be really cool.
155 days since my last visit to KI.
134 days since my last visit to a park (Dollywood) and coaster ride (Thunderhead).
24 days, 20 hours and 6 minutes to go...
What is done, is done, what comes, comes, and we can only not buy the product if we don't like it, or do buy the product if one does like it. BB1 who is not going to rant about it, and just state the facts.
We all get "good things" from CF once in awhile, some of us do hate it, but live with it, I know I have.
Isn't Fast Lane Plus even cheaper than Fast Lane was at the end of the season last year? I believe it was. To say that the park has "taken away" anything is beyond untrue. Just be thankful the park has even given you an option to take advantage of the system, something you (Jr for Birdy) apparently did a ton last year. Not all parks have this system and is very useful for those who don't visit the park as often as we do, but still want to experience as much as they can in one day; especially if it's a busy Saturday in July. Nonetheless it is also a huge money maker for the park, and doesn't effect other customer's experiences. Remember, Fast Lane is still new and it has taken a while to perfect, and it is still a long way from "perfect." But they sure are getting closer.
I'm not upset at you or anything like that - I'm just so tired of everything costing a buck when my income hasn't gone up in years!
And I may get to the park if we have a meet-up. Can't ride any coasters, but that carousel is looking mighty fine!
I love the fanboys who blindly regurgitate the park's talking points. My solution to the whole nickel and dime approach that CF has adopted is very simple. I assume that anything and everything the park wants people to spend money on is a rip-off, therefore, I do not spend one red cent inside the park.
