  1. I personally would not be opposed to a straddle coaster like the one at BGW. I thought was a really fun family ride. However, I would rather see it go into the tomb raider building and possibly reuse some of those sets. Imagine whizzing past the goddess on a straddle coaster? Sounds pretty good and the que theming is still solid in there too.

  3. I'm still surprised that shooting rides are designed for children in light of gun violence.

  7. Where I worked sometimes the music was pumped into our prep room in the back and that was also awful because no matter where you worked the music was always playing. Five years ago the music was playing, but recently they stopped pumping in music most of the time. It is unfortunate cause whenever they would send out park announcements they would never come through our speaker. So when the important things were announced like the park closing we always had to step outside to hear the announcements. But some nights I would fall asleep listening to the instrumental covers that they played during the regular season, but as keep working their year after year the music doesn’t even register in your head anymore. During the first haunt of the season we would never warn the new coworkers about the cannons, it was like our initiation during haunt. You get jump scared by the cannons.

  8. I always thought it was called the International Restaurant because its at the end of International Street. ;-) Even back when it opened, it offered more a more "common fare" menu (The same kind of menu I was speaking of... meat and potatoes.) The more diverse/themed entrees were served at the various eateries on the midway based on the country being represented (Sausage at the German/Swiss venue, Beignets at the French Corner etc) IMO, the International Buffet tried a bit to hard to be diverse during its recent Winterfest offerings... and the menu & price kept people away. Sure kept me from going back. Example of an original IR menu:

  9. Thank goodness the chain is embracing AI art. As a shareholder, I was really concerned about having "artists" on payroll, but this is much cheaper!

  10. It is called the international restaurant should it not serve more diverse food options.
