18 year old me: INVERSIONS!!!! 38 year old me: airtime. Rode Banshee 5 times last visit and got nauseous for the first time ever...and that scares me! Maybe the wrong thread to ask, but any good threads on advice to avoid that as you get older?

I worked parking lot security for a year (back when they hired people to attempt to direct traffic). People do very, very strange things:)

I get a good kick out of them at times by trying to find the more ridiculous comments or suggestions. For instance, on a post about the family care center, someone stated that KI should start a day care center for her 3 year old. The main argument being there wasn't anything to do for a 3 year old and that way she could drop her kid off at the day care and ride rides with her older kid. If only there was an award winning kids area where said 3 year old could play. Comedic gold!

All the comment sections for anything as big as Kings Island is, for the most part, nothing but "diarrhea of the keyboard". Really stupid people saying really stupid things, with flawed arguments and even more flawed grammar.

I would say get the ring, secure it somehow, and wait until the top of the lift hill of The Beast to pop the question:) You'll get a pretty cool picture a few seconds later:)

I want to love this ride, and the banging isn't the issue. It is #1 - the quick blackout feeling on the 2nd loop, and #2 - the restraints *kill* my shoulders by the end of the ride. If it had a over the shoulder restraint like Banshee, I'd ride it a lot more. Any advice to help with the blackout feeling?

The forecast was awful for Sunday, but ended up being perfect. Walk on rides all over the park up until around 4, once people saw the weather wasn't awful. I had a great 5 hour visit on fathers day. That being said, I don't expect any other bring a friend days to be that slow.

Yeah, really. I'd love to hear a youtube loop of that.

The initial walk into the park entrance, after dodging the annoying photo people, is one of my favorite moments of a visit. It is a nice, "we're HERE" moment where I always take a moment to soak it in, and to adjust to being away from the outside world and be a kid for the next several hours.

Not exactly an Easter egg, but this always bugged me...the X-Wing in the 80's display is a vintage Kenner X-wing (1978-1983), however the Luke (X-Wing Pilot) figure in the cockpit is from the 1995-1998 Kenner / Hasbro Power of the Force 2 line...*not* an 80's action figure! Yes, I am a dork

I've been watching the KI live webcams here and there this week, and it does seem odd. So far, today and yesterday around 10-11, the stations for BLSC and DB looks less busy than Monday and Tuesday. Of course the day is very early, but still. What's up with that?

It seemed last week was pretty busy, even during usually slower days (Monday-Tuesday). Sounds like that hasn't been the same this week? Thinking of skipping work and going tomorrow but hoping it's not too packed.

Is it just me, or does KI seem to draw more trashy / disrespectful people in recent years? Maybe they just stand out more when line jumping, cursing, smoking, etc., occur. Maybe it's just 2017 culture as a whole. Maybe I'm just growing into a grouchy old man.

100% agree. I could literally ride this coaster all day, which is a great testament to its design.

Front seat, right around 2001, on a date with what would later be my wife. I loved it, but being at an "invincible" age of 22 and a big coaster fan, I didn't notice it being rough. 16 years later, I can't convince my wife to ride pretty much any coaster. Coincidence??

I'm sure there are obvious reasons as to why, but it seems like such a waste to only have 3 trains with a max of 12 riders. Such a capacity nightmare.

Personally, I use a hard case, and take them off, put them in the case and store them in the side pocket of cargo shorts. Emphasis on hard case so if you get bumped around, you don't have to worry about the glasses breaking. Then again, my prescription is weak enough so that I can see well without them, so there's that.

An improvement, but man I'd love to hear the Indiana Jones main score on this ride for obvious reasons.

Updating the Beach Boys track is a good thing. Kokomo < any others Beach Boys tune.
