  1. I wonder if working on Sundays was planned or if they behind schedule?
  2. Are the workers that are erecting the steel specialized in steel roller coaster construction or are they just your average steel worker?
  3. Even towards the end the ride it still looks massive!
  4. ^ well said finally someone agrees with me I wont ride The Beast durning the day but on a cool night its almost in my top 10. Yes night time makes that much of a difference
  5. From the looks of the ride so far it looks the brakes at the end will be on hard for sure.
  6. http://www.italintl.com/detail_page.php?record_id=1732 I would like to try that ride out. While the water shield (for lack of better term) looks tacky I'm sure it would make sure you got soaked.
  7. It was at Great America. The line didn't look long at all. It was maybe 400 people or so if I had to guess.
  8. You would rather put your wallet and cell phone in bin than take a chance it might fall out. I dont trust the general public not to steel my stuff.
  9. I was in line for Superman and with no switchbacks open I waited 70 minutes.
  10. You can tie your-self off all the time it would take forever.
  11. I never got a ride skylab but I have been on Witches Wheel which I found to be an okay ride.
  12. I liked the extreme G's in the pretzel loop.
  13. i like this topic but I honestly would rather be cold than hot. At least you can dress for the cold
  14. They are steel workers. They have the proper gear to be working out in the cold.
  15. Looks like a puke inducing machine to me. Count me out.
  16. Demon Drop was one of the few rides that actually gave me the chills whens I was riding it
  17. You generally have to have the key in your pocket or near you for the push button start to work.
  18. The street car route takes 8 minutes to walk why would I pay to ride it? Plus not only the the route is in the heart of the hood. If the street car actually went someone AKA (the banks to newport) Id be all for it.
  19. ^ Im guessing you dont live in the city and your not going to be one of the ones paying for it.
  20. I will not be riding it. Never not a once.
  21. Putting the track up is probably the quickest and easiest steps in building a coaster but it is definitely tge most noticeable
  22. I get the error too.
  23. They really need to paint the Invertigo sign to match the ride. I wouldn't mind if they ripped out the entire stunt crew building. I never see that place doing much business anyway.
  24. I don't see why they would need sensors in the back of the ride. Its not like a train will be able to go down the first drop until the other train is on the brake run anyway. If the train doesn't make if from lift to brake run in a certain amount of time given some leeway the computer will know a train has stalled.
  25. Shhhh! I was going to ask why Cedar Fair doesn't run two trains on Invertigo next! Invertigo does fine with a single train. I do think Wicked Twister could benefit from two trains, though. In fact, I think the improvement would be smashing. They could have a quick transfer track so one train could load while other was going through the course. However with increased downtime likely from that they probaly just better off with the one train.
