  1. I dont think 175 feet is high for the steel workers considering they build other things a lot higher. While this dude isn't a steel worker could you imagine building this? What is the angle of descent on Banshee? It looks like its going be pretty close to 90 degrees.
  2. Fridays are the best for the haunt. Sundays the park is usually pretty empty but you cant do the mazes.
  3. Not really on the contruction but I dont think the lift going through the loop is going to add anything to the ride since your riding below the track.
  4. Just draw the transitions out more and lower the streeses on the track.
  5. The next coaster to be built will likely go where Vortex sits.
  6. Nice addition but am I the only one that wishes the seats faced the outside.
  7. Its happens every year. Haunt sucks towards the beginning and gets better as it progresses. Why it keeps happening I dont know but management needs to fix it.
  8. Looks like on the first drop you will get pretty close to the ground.
  9. First thing is be prepared for lines.
  10. I wonder where the extra cost is for the ride is coming from. This ride is Banshee is cost the park 2 more million to build than Diamondback yet Banshee is 1,158ft shorter. Has the cost of steel went up that much, design cost more, or trains?
  11. It's not that people were smaller back then. It's that people back then generally were smart enough not to try to touch the tunnel. Somewhere in the past 30+ years, humans have devolved into idiots that have to be protected from their own stupidity. You calling me dumb? (just joking) I would expect a park of Kings Islands caliber to design a ride where the tunnels are out of reach. I also advise my group members not to hold their hands up and they just smirck at me. However I have noticed it seems over the past decade or so people have been getting stronger and taller, Just look at some of the people in professional sports. Your lucky to be a point guard in the NBA at 6'4 now days.

  13. I am 6ft 3in-4in and I can and have hit/loved tapped stuff in The Beast tunnels. Its lower than you think. The ride was designed for the 80's and it seems to me people where much smaller then.
  14. Ever tailgated before a game. Hundreds of car and not a one gas tank explosion.
  15. The tracks color is not the same as it is in the rendering.
  16. Wow. $50.00 to have some roaches and snakes thrown on you. I think I'll pass and it sounds like a law suit.
  17. I really would like to see a maintenance schedule on some of the rides just to compare. Actually, I think that needs to be public knowledge.
  18. Its not the fact that sales tax is going up to me but its more of how that money is spent, There is a lot of waste in the government today. The street car is one example. Something not needed voted No on by the voters yet its being built anyway. The millions of dollars this thing is going to cost is ludacris. Now build a light rail running up to traders world, downtown, and to Kings Island I would be all for it.. Gets some of the cars of the highway (save money on repaving roads) and you get cleaner air and boost business along the routes. Whats the street car going to do? Likely get over ridden by thugs and gangs.
  19. Up and up. Everything is always going up. Sooner or later its going to be to the point where it doesnt even pay to go to work.
  20. Uhm... No? Yea, its a bit of an illusion from the perspective we have. It is laying on the ground behind that section of supports Yeah I see that now.
  21. Looks like a track peice of the lift hill has been installed.
  22. I would assume the station, lift and brake run get built first since that is where most the eleterical/mechincal compents will be.
