  1. My questions: 1) Will Action Zone be rethemed? 2) Will Oktoberfest get some additions to bring it back to it's German theme? 3) Will the German food return permanently and not just for Winterfest in the future? 4) Will the SOB station be reused for a year around attraction like a new coaster in the future?
  2. To me the Action Zone name fits okay with the current stuff there. Originally it was movie theme, but to me it kinda morphed into Action Zone as in there is a lot of action/thrills in that area. I do agree that it could be rethemed, but I don't know if KI or Cedar Fair would go that route.
  3. And give it an all you can eat german buffet and include it on the dining plan.
  4. A lot of people at KI have all season dining plans which basically pays for your meals. What my family and I'm sure other families does is they go up for lunch and dinner multiple times throughout the summer and it basically makes it cheaper than going to the restaurants around town. Heck, some people (including me and my family) have gotten stuff to go before when it was time to leave.
  5. A path from the SOB station area to Xbase/Oktoberfest would not work mainly because of Banshee in the way.
  6. An idea would be to develop the Invertigo/Congo Falls/Timberwolf area and maybe add an area where they can still hold Spirit Song. Like set up a stage and put up bleachers or maybe just make it a music festival where people sit on the ground. For the coaster, I think since it's at the front of the park, they should do a wing or dive, but make it stand out.
  7. I waited like 4 and a half hours that night, but that does include the time when it went down.
  8. I do agree it doesn't need to be touched. I honestly think if they were to use the Oktoberfest pond, they wouldn't use all of it so they can still keep the charm.
  9. I know a wild mouse would be good, but knowing Cedar Fair, they like to upgrade outdated areas of parks with big thrill coasters. Like you could do something like Copperhead Strike in that area near the pond. Or you could even do a dive coaster of some sort there and have it dive into the pond like Yukon Striker.
  10. For MT they did a passholder preview night and opening day. Pass preview brought in more people than opening day. if they do that for the giga, it would be the same thing as Mystic where more come pass preview than opening day.
  11. Oktoberfest. That area is due to be brought back to how it was. It now feels like the small part between Coney Mall and AZ. I would bring back some of the german stuff (like they had at Winterfest, but keep it permanent.) I would also love to see the barrels return and some more flat rides. They could even do a coaster in that area. Maybe something like Copperhead Strike or even Maverick over the pond themed to the area. I would like to see Slingshot removed or relocated to Xbase or something.
  12. What I wish they would do is make it where people can go onto the fountains and play in the fountains and get wet. Kinda like what Cedar Point does with their midway fountains. That would be a nice way to cool off on hot summer days.
  13. I could throw Leviathan in there as well.
  14. One of the names I came up with "Power Force" has sort of a sci fi feel to it.
  15. It definitely wouldn't be Disney or Universal level. But if they do a sci fy themed giga, they should it right and have a nice themed queue.
  16. Yes, but they do seem to be stepping it up in theming. It would be awesome if KI and CF did something like this. Especially with the whole X base theme. It would work great alongside FOF
  17. I was thinking. Wouldn't it be cool to have a giant building for the queue line all the way up to the station especially for an Xbase theme. Look at how Disaster Transport used to be at Cedar Point. Yes it would be very similar to FOF, but I think it would be a nice duo where the themes could cross over. It would actually fit the name Power Force I came up with.
  18. I don't want a 200 foot camel back hill. I think it should stay a little more low to the ground like Fury and focus on speed. I do think it should have some camel back hills, but not that high.
  19. What if the old Firehawk photo building becomes a food stand for 2019. They seem to be doing work in it. So maybe we'll get a new food stand in 2019 along with the antique cars. I've had this theory for a while that the next several years will be focused on the whole Coney Mall/Xbase/Oktoberfest area of the park.
  20. Alien would be a perfect name with that color scheme.
  21. Agreed. I actually would like it to become a queue house. That would make waiting in line on sunny hot days not as miserable. Plus they could go all out in theming with it!
  22. Banshee is actually a reddish purple or what Don calls "Mystic Red" (Banshee 2013 construction tour). This is 100% purple with black supports. It's supposed to be a space/sci fi themed coaster.
  23. Using @sixohdieselrage pic. Full credit to him. I decided to use it for my latest giga concept on how it would look facing the river! I give you Vision Force!
  24. It's still super successful because of how it is a destination park. Sandusky is also a tourist town with the resorts and stuff. People like going to the middle of Lake Erie on that peninsula.
  25. I honestly like Cedar Point's location. Yes, Sandusky is a small town with a bunch of factories. Cedar Point had always been a destination place ever since it opened. It was originally supposed to be a vacation spot on Lake Erie where people could come and swim in Lake Erie.
