I don't read blueprints that well, but in the leaked layout, it looks like a pretty big station. Also, is part of that the queue line for the coaster?
-
I thought those were cones marking storm drains and stuff like that.
-
I found this video. I know it won't be Intamin, but I love the theming and colors of this ride. I love the arrow type lights that travel down the drop.
-
^^No you are not. I sware everytime I type in Kings Island 2020 in the search bar, most of the recent things I see are people still sharing this around tagging friends and stuff saying they are planning on going to ride it.
-
I'm guessing our teaser campaign should be similar to how Copperhead Strike was teased where different posters saying different things go up throughout the season. I also hope the announcement is on a public operating day where everyone can attend and not like Carowinds where they announce on a closed day and was just for the media.

The way I thought about it is they could try and interact with The Bat and Banshee. I thought of having part of the layout it dive off the cliff and into a tunnel underneath Bat's station similar to Iron Rattler where it dives off the wall into a tunnel.
-
Both Kings park's gigas having the same height is kinda funny imo.
-
I've said this many times before, but I believe Diamondback didn't start teasing until July.
-
A point on length made before is that shorter doesn't always mean weaker. Look at RMC coasters. Yes, Steel Vengeance is long, but if you look at many RMC's, they aren't terribly long, but they pack a punch. Also, look at I305. Widely considered one of the best coasters in the world and several enthusiasts #1 and has a shorter track length than Diamondback. It's also shorter than the other gigas in height.
-
A big example is how Top Thrill Dragster is the tallest in the park and how many people prefer Steel Vengeance, Maverick, and Millennium Force even though they are shorter in height. Just because it is not the tallest, doesn't mean it won't be the best. We might be in for a wonderful surprise.

Oooo The memories of me and my dad riding this when I was little haha! Nickelodeon Universe >>> Planet Snoopy!
-
That is if this ride has tunnels which I hope it does!
-
Hey @RuthlessAirtime people on Facebook are still sharing The Beast Unleashed thing thinking it's real. I even just saw a few people I know share it.
-
Remember I believe Diamondback didn't start teasing until July.
-
Congrats @Maverick44 Btw we should make more concepts using the "leaked" layout that we are 50/50 on being real or not.
-
Make sure my seat is in first class and is a first class suite like on Eithad Airways!
-
John Matarese will probably be the one covering this project on wcpo all season. I'm sure he'll also be live at the announcement and media day for the ride! In fact we should try and interview him for a KIC podcast

Dennis Speigel was one of the people who thought Banshee was going to be a wing coaster. But he did predict that Mystic Timbers was a wooden coaster and he did predict the right manufacturer.

Here is a good way to advertise the coaster in the market area. I have mentioned this many times in the past. Photo Credit: http://mediaincanada.com/2012/08/01/spotted-canadas-wonderland-coasts-off-of-highways/

I think another thing we've got to keep in mind is that Kings Island is more of a locals/family park and not a destination park. The park tends to cater more to the families rather than the thrill seekers. Imo, I think imo that the reason that they are probably going smaller/cheaper on a giga rather than going insanely huge is that it'll be easier to achieve the minimum return on investment goal.

Here is a picture of the light up wheels installed on Tatsu. Full credit goes to Uremet. This would actually fit well on a space theme coaster.
-
I think I saw on Facebook somewhere that Tatsu at magic mountain got new LED lights on the train wheels. I think it would be awesome if we got something like that on this!
-
Or here's an idea, just use the indoor switchbacks.
-
I'm confused here. Everyone is getting different measurements here.
-
If this lift is 310' it would be kinda funny to have a giga with the same height as Millennium Force
