When do you think Kings Island will receive a Giga?
Hawaiian Coasters 325 replied to Klabergian Empire's topic in KI Polls
It doesn't 100% mean 2020, but I think 2020 is still pretty likely because of the notice of commencement. -

^^ Or they could reuse it for the new B&M project. That queue line is not that old and is in quite good condition and could transform well into a queue for a new coaster. -

I'm still kinda interested in the photo that @Phantom Theater posted of the Firehawk area in why the queue for Firehawk is still there. As well as the entrance area being the same. -

I think it's like it's most likely we'll see a new coaster in 2020 because of the notice of commencement filed back in August. -
There are a bunch of storm shelters throughout the park.

The order I would take is 1. Giga 2. Wing 3. Floorless and 4. Dive

Except Carowinds you have to look hard because their cams are dirty
-
Imo they should get new webcams in the future. Like one pointing at every area of the park (except Soak City due to typical reasons).

I made a dive coaster concept. I don't want a dive coaster, but since it's a possibility, I decided to make a concept. The name is Sonic Boom!.

Firehawk Leaving Kings Island 10/28/18
Hawaiian Coasters 325 replied to IndyGuy4KI's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
That would make a great entrance sign or they could have some sort of Firehawk removal in the queue of the new coaster similar to what Banshee has in honor of SOB -

I wonder if they are reusing the queue for what's coming next. -

Did you get any of the old Firehawk area? -
The third element is a corkscrew similar to the third element of GateKeeper

Yes, I would love a giga and I think that it's the most likely option, but what if they got a launched wing instead? I made this concept of a launched wing in the old Firehawk plot of land.

I saw that video. Someone who went also told me that the kid who asked it disappeared after that.

KI didn't really add anything except a restaurant in 2018, so that's why imo attendance wasn't as good as 2017. Imo more families will come to the park this year for the antique cars, but we'll see.

Just because he recommended it doesn't mean it's definitely happening. It makes it more likely though.

I would love a giga and I find it the most likely option, but I'm not ruling out other B&M models. Like a wing, dive, or maybe a B&M flyer (which I find pretty unlikely). If you are 100% expecting a giga, you are setting yourselves up for disappointment if it does not happen. People were hyping a giga for 2014 and 2017 and they didn't happen and guess what Banshee and Mystic Timbers are great additions to this park! The park was lacking a true invert as well as a modern day wooden coaster and they both filled those gaps.

What they said in the conference call was that they aren't walking away from the big investments like coasters. They will be complimented by special events. Imo what they talked about with the spacing out things means that we will probably seeing more gaps between coasters and will be seeing more flats, family attractions, waterpark expansions, etc. I really think KI needs to go on a spree of flats.

Thank you! I think it would work well on the skyline.
