Diamondback opened during the Nickelodeon Universe era. Boy do I miss it!

Decoding 2020
Steel Vengeance pulled those waits the first year imo mainly because of them running 1-2 trains most of the year. It's getting those waits this year I've heard because of stacking and the new cellphone policy.

I waited about 4 and 1/2 hours for Mystic Timbers on passholder preview night in 2017.

Yeah do it! We would all love it!

Decoding 2020
According to the blueprints, they are reusing the former photo building for the entry to the new coaster.

Decoding 2020
The blueprints have a whole new queue for the new coaster. I was thinking they could use the former Firehawk queue as an overflow, but now I find that unlikely.

We don't even know when Kings Island will open for the 2020 season. In fact I have a feeling it'll open earlier than 4/20.

Kings Island losing B&M?
I don't know. As much as I absolutely hate Vortex and would love to see it wrecked, I do agree that it's an icon to the park and doesn't have that much maintenance issues.

Kings Island losing B&M?
I think it'll be a while before we see another coaster at Kings Island after this. I'm saying like 4-6 years. I doubt they'll do another log flume. It seems like log flumes are dying out. I think we are more likely to see new water rides in Soak City than the park itself. My 5 year plan following 2020 (probably will change) 2021 - Planet Snoopy expansion 2022 - Soak City Expansion, 50th anniversary celebration 2023 - flat ride package, Invertigo/Congo Falls leave at the end of season 2024 - new restaurant and/or family ride/prep for 2025 2025 - Mack double launch

Kings Island losing B&M?
I honestly think that we'll continue to get some B&Ms in the future since the plant is just down the road. But I also see us getting some coasters from other manufacturers. I think an RMC is in our future and maybe a Mack.

I was thinking a nice day to announce the coaster is July 25th (Christmas in July). Mystic Timbers was announced late July. It's just my opinion. I could also see August 16th with it being national rollercoaster day. Just my opinion. I hope it's after 10 pm like the last two coaster announcements because that could make for a very fun day at the park with the hype.

I think the overflow queue for opening weekend would be using the haunt and the haunt's queue that is there. Kinda like what they did for Mystic Timbers where they used the crypt building and the haunt's queue as an overflow.

Sorry I'm late to the party today. I got a new phone finally! Anyways, according to the blueprints, it looks like there will be no gift shop at the exit. I wonder where they'll sell the merch for this coaster since there aren't really any gift shops nearby and with this coaster being this big, I'm sure they'll want to sell merch for it.

Decoding 2020
I would be shocked if there was no teaser campaign knowing how big a project and how hyped up this is. Also sorry for the double post.

But things can change. I wouldn't be surprised if our teasing campaign is a little different than last year. In fact it will be different with the timing. This time last year the park was already dropping hints on social media. In my opinion I would expect after Grand Carnivale, the park will start dropping hints on social media.
