  1. This is where DD11 would start questioning riding. She's very much a people person, so always enjoys riding with anyone. Take the "together for X seconds of screams and laughs" and a quick talk with whoever was riding with her, she'd lose interest quick.
  2. I 100% volunteer to test masks (except a gas mask) for some KI coasters, I'll pay all travel expenses, and contribute my time for free.
  3. Guess it's better to have trim installed and not need them, than need them and not have them.
  4. We were looking at the gaiters so could at least get away from relying on ears or a headband to keep them from flying off if we're required.
  5. We have a local barber doing the first couple hours for high risk clients. Kinda hope more catch on. They are requiring masks for clients in Indiana, but have seen clients and stylists without them.
  6. Ooh picture a haunt mine attraction in the center.
  7. Could be the blue in the background making it look greener.
  8. 11yos idea for replacing Vortex "at least 10 inversions, 400ft drop with a waterfall behind it and a tunnel that goes under a pond" Glad she still has imagination. Even if they choose to not have a coaster with inversions there are still flat rides that could make up for that.
  9. If they are allowed cloth masks they may be able to get better fits vs the surgical style. Definitely different sizes would have them better prepared. Should expect more breaks and a slower pace.
  10. The breathing/mask fit and glasses fogging are the biggest issues even with the antifog wipes. Pretty much it's only gotten to 80 degrees in the plant so far which normally is comfortable for me. (Yes I'm that person running around in summer with a jacket) They actually don't have paper surgical mask sizes that fit me so have to tie the elastic to shorten or the mask just flops around , but it's what I'm required to wear because I work "within 6ft of an individual for10 minutes or longer". Even then bending down it moves the mask and blocks part of my eyesight. I've been going to the restroom and taking my mask off about every hour to catch my breath. Think antifog is a little misleading because no my glasses don't "fog", but do still collect condensation and make things blurry until I can clean them. Best way to describe it is those "drunk goggles" police like to put on people. I wonder how safe ride ops can be if their vision can be impeded with either during checks.
  11. Those are from goggles and N95 masks that have to seal. I have yet to have marks from my cloth or surgical mask on my face. The most damage is behind ears.
  12. Can inspectors ride after they've inspected the ride? Hmmmm maybe that should be a requirement so I can change jobs and have perks I almost forgot about that ride, haven't been to KK since kid hit 52' and wanted more "crazy coasters". She marathoned the heck out of that one though when we were there.
  13. Think it was from a shareholder meeting just a few days or weeks ago. Remember they did mention that there are employees that are not furloughed and still receiving pay at this point because they want to be ready if given the okay to open. BUT would reassess finances if they should put people on furlough the further we go into the season. I interpreted it as: if we lay those people off, don't expect to open for the season.
  14. I meant the tree/shrub/kind, sometimes forget it's a coaster forum with people know what trim brakes are Don't remember what landscape is in that area
  15. Looks like a bit of maintenance? trimming? going on at MT cam (yes I'm that bored on break lol)
  16. I didn't know how involved inspectors may or may not be during the construction of a new ride. Sorry for ignorance.
  17. Are you talking about when the country opens or when the park opens? @Jr for Birdy Japan is still requiring a 14 day quarantine for international travelers.
  18. The big ones I noticed were wipe downs every cycle. Except for ticket purchases and their reloadable card, transactions will be cashless. And masks not required but will be given complementary if you want one.
  19. I've been looking into the running belts so I can go bagless. I'm worried about anything on my wrist, knowing my luck hands up and it'd fly off. It's not just fluffy sizes with zipper pockets hard to find. Even in men's sizes the zippered ones are few and far between. I blame the "skinny jeans" trend lol
  20. Public pools will require you to stay within a swim lane/box except to exit the pool and alternate open/closed boxes.
  21. Is it good for next season too lol The band Accesso offers is the same one Volcano Bay uses in Orlando. Didn't have very good experiences with those things. Lost payment method 3 times in 1 day, and when I had to get a new band lost my ride queue time. But that does open Holiday World to utilizing something for the waterpark and have some things going there.
