  1. I know a lot of the rides in Oktoberfest were removed during his time.
  2. I think some people don’t like that era due to all the classic rides there were removed. I’m also a bit curious as to why that era gets such a bad name.
  3. If you go to 3:20 you’re able to get a decent ish view of the landing pad area.
  4. Keep in mind Orion’s break run is partially as long as it is due to the fact there’s no MCBR while Diamondback does have an MCBR.
  5. Trees really do go a long way in improving park atmosphere
  6. I believe Anthony is working for Carnival cruises as a creative director.
  7. Could you see the midcourse break run?
  8. ^ Be aware it just says concept. He didn’t confirm one was coming to Kings Island
  9. In years pasts you have needed to be apart of a coaster club, it’ll most likely be the same this year.
  10. I’d rather have a custom designed ride for Kings Island rather then another cloned addition.
  11. Given the general direction Cedar Fair has been going I don’t really find this surprising. In the past few years we’ve seen Carowinds, Canada’s Wonderland & now Kings Island get newly themed areas. I’d assume this area could go in the area Vortex, Fury & Hurler are maybe?
  12. I think I can still see both of the loops in that photograph.
  13. Didn't know they welded, I assumed most parks would try to avoid welding parts of their coaster.
  14. $20,000! I wonder what the record for the most money raised for a first rider auction is.
  15. ^Interesting how Shake, Rattle & Roll colors hasn’t been changed to red on that map.
  16. That’s what I always thought the 5 year plan meant. I just don’t see how’d you spend 5 years designing a regional park coaster. If I recall a wing coaster for GateKeeper was decided upon at IAAPA 2011 which was just 2 years prior to its opening.
  17. I don’t think anyone’s ever said it takes 5 years to actually design a coaster, I think the five year process is just a general idea of what they’d like to do during those five years and I assume it frequently changes for the years further down the road.
  18. I’d venture to say they will do nothing. I hope I’m wrong but the park doesn’t seem to plant that many trees. All I’m hoping for is the trees near Vortex don’t get removed.
  19. A little disappointed they turned off the camera. For such a beloved coaster it would have been nice to see its deconstruction.
  20. Yes you get to ride for 3 hours.
  21. If you donate $150 you get to attend the event, the top 32 will be able to get on the first train, those 32 seats are what’s being auctioned off.
  22. Confirms O’Rourke is doing the demo.
  23. Maybe they’re going to use those for parts or hopefully maybe that’s what they’ll auction off? ^ Yes that was the bottom of the track
  24. It permits you into the park (as the park isn’t even technically open besides media day)
