Thanks! Mid-May is a long wait and I thought this would be a fun way to enjoy the park from a distance. I'm glad this site exists so that people who really enjoy this park can discuss the park with other people who share that interest. It's truly amazing that so many people care about the park. That's the reason I got an account here. To discuss the park with people who enjoy it as much as I do. We will be at the park soon enough. We just have to wait a little longer.

^Does it constitute as a steel coaster? It has a steel track but wooden supports. Same goes with RMCs.

Happy April 11th everyone! Since today was the scheduled opening day, I thought why not do it virtually? Yes. But it is probably easier to manage in the main park rather than the water park.

Like I said earlier, just have GCI design a replica of it. And that Swedish RMC does look kinda nice... But I prefer a classic layout over any hybrid.

I honestly want something that has a nostalgic feel to it. Something like a B&M is not right for this picture (since we are getting one this season). We need something original AND something that can be modern yet nostalgic.

I completely agree with you thoughts on Congo Falls. But I disagree with you on trees on Soak City. I would imagine with the said trees leaves shedding in the fall, it would be quite a mess for maintenance to clean up. It makes more sense to add trees to the main park rather than Soak City.

I really think if Kings Island got with Intamin again, I honestly would LOVE a prefab woodie placed somewhere in the park.

I haven't been to the waterpark in YEARS. But looking at it, it IS a decent waterpark that does have the ability to expand. The issue with waterparks here is they are only open 3-4 moths of the year. So from a money perspective, a new water attraction at the park probably happens 2-4 times per decade. That's just my thinking.

Yes. We really do have a big lack of looping coasters. We lost 11 inversions with Firehawk and Vortex. The only looping coasters at the park now is Invertigo, Banshee, .....(Cant think of any else. My mind went blank). And we technically already have a multi-launch coaster with BLST. Plus an indoor launch coaster with FoF. I honestly don't think we need a big multi launch coaster. I was going to write a bit about what I think the park should get, but I'll save that for another forum.
