Well TR:TR is being its normal self, it managed to get in a whopping 4 successful cycles today, which is more than opening day last year.
-
Probably will get sprayed off, you should leave it there though so all the people can see that scooters would "fit" and whine over it.
-
Yeh, some peopel are going to be ****ed when they go to the park tomorrow, and see the opening where the flying eagles use to be, inlcuding the green operator saftey box.
-
That is the most stupidest thing i've heard. The only time the ride ops will turn the lights on is when there is a special event going on, and everyone agrees.
-
Yeh its probably the set of three switches by the bottom of the block brake steps. If not those then there is a single switch about half way between the block brake steps and the area where all the nuts and bolts are kept.
-
Because the didn't flip the switch off in the drum probably, or the emergency light button on the driver panel is screwed up again, and won't work. Personally I like FOF a lot better with all the lights on, but it does suck if its just the roof lights. And while we are on the topic about Flight of Fear, anyone know why its trimming in the block brakes again?

You are so wrong, about that. PKI is private property, it is owned by Parmount Parks, they have a fence surrounding the property. If it were public property it would be owned by the city of Mason. You are paying to use their service, when you pay for said services (Admission, rides and so on) you accept the rules of the property, if you do not comply with those rules, they will either eject you from the park, including being banned from the park or arrest you. Also just for the record smoking has always been banned in queue lines. I also think you should be allowed to smoke if you want to (but dont encourage it), but PKI does have 19 designated smoking areas, use it thats what there for. Don't stand in a queue house and blow smoke at someone, its disgusting. Also Hope you don't have a season pass, i believe the 3rd time you are caught out of the designated areas/ smoking in line, you will have your season pass revoked without a refund. Further more, Please let us know what you like like, so when you visit the park you can get stapled on every ride for being an @$$hole. Finally about the They have the right to decide who they want in the park and who they don't, there are people on the permently banned from the park list, mostly those who decide to stand up on coasters, including those who have ben caught at other parks doing the same thing.

Thats also not considered a valley, thats just a lift 2 miscatch, and there are brakes right there to catch it. Also what is meant by "one of the Face/off trains" suggesting there are more than 1? For the most part if its not possible to push/ pull a train to a location where it can continue on its on, they will remove the upstop wheels and take the train off. Further more i would like to add about the anti roll backs on Racer, each side actually has 2 chains, 1 on the main lift, and another on the 2nd biggest hill which is only turned on at the beginning of the year when the trains are running slow. -
People need to leave the celebrities alone while they are at the park, most of them are there during their off time, and want to enjoy it with their families. When i was at FOF in 01, some people from O-Town rode, and we had to keep the restraints locked on the rest of the train, and manually release the group out and take them out the back door, even then once the train was unlocked, everyone went running after them, and about ran into the drum, and on top of that the guest tried to buy the pictures from the photo booth. Just let everyone enjoy the park, they want to relax, and have fun too.
-
How can the brakes catch you any sooner, there permanant magnetic brakes. Also it now spins again, however it doesn't do the complete spin at the top like it did in 1999, but theres a reason for that.

Thought we had a discussion about this. -
Pretty sure that Amazing Photos is still in the park, at the same rides they had last year.
-
Today was allright, we got 7 rides in on 5 different rides (Delirium, South Racer, FOF twice, Beast, and TR:TR twice) Its a good thing the park did close early, right after noon, the wind started to gust really strong, plus the gross attendenance was only like 800 or so.
-
This year though, Gold Pass is not the same day as Dry Run day
-
Yes KCKC operated through the 2000 season. If you were there in 1999 it still could've been either flume ride, KCKC or Kings Mill flume (Prior to its being closed during 2000 and renovations)
-
^No, The only log ride they took out was KCKC and that was to put TR:TR in, Wild Thornberries was closed for a year though, and reopened as part of Nick Centrals debut.
-
Probably wasn't KCKC then, you wouldn't really get wet riding that. KCKC was the boat rde that use to be where TR:TR is now.

You definitly won't need all day at the park, back in last October I was able to ride everything multiple times, and do some of their Halloween activities except Greezed lightning which was down, but i have ridden it before. And for the first time Quake was open the same day I was there. -
The Bat looks like it would've been an awesome suspended coaster, only if it were banked, and better designed. Well that kind of stuff happens with a prototype ride.
-
The whole station on The Bat was reused for The Vortex, you can see the cut outs for the suspended track on the side track doors. They probably even used the same brakes since The Bat even though a suspended coaster had brakes below the train.
-
Well the antechamber and preshow background music plays through that same DSM player nad people seem to have those.
-
Yeah anything is possible if you know what your doing. I'm sure that the dumbeat track does exist somewhere, its only 22 seconds long, with a continuous loop. Even during the cycle the DSM module still plays it, it just isn't sent out to the ride. Sure would be nice to have a copy of it. The only thing i wish is that you couyld actually hear the part between the icefield and the lava pit (DSM 11) but its overshadowed by effects.
