Favorite Kings island family kiddsy coaster from nick universe
TopThrill replied to westcoaster's topic in KI Polls
The Beastie is the ride over there. -
To add on top of that on Friday while riding Adventure Expree, going into the first tunnel we smelled the very foul smell. Think they had a sewage line bust or something, because man it smelled, and the hot air trapped in there didn't help ether. And the second to last tunnel had that smell to, very thankful the last tunnel with the lift hill didn't have that, or the hole train might have passed out. We also smelled it that back in Action Zone to. And a week ago from that on Friday after the rain the restrooms by DB, they had two or three pumper trucks, setting there with a hose going under ground.

This is the longest post I've seen here, I have heard some ghost stores while working at the park.

For me its a tie, Drop Tower and Delirium. Only problem with Drop Tower is there starting adding new seats with shorter seat belts, I had to staple myself to the the buckle to lock. I'm 6'1 with big shoulders, that was a tight fit. lol.

Cedar Point Ride List
TopThrill replied to KI Kevin's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I like your list guitarkevin4life, things I would add are, CorkScrew it was the first to go upside down three times, the wait doesn't get long. Blue Streak, its a great old woodie with lots of air time, and I've heard that this year is really smooth. I would skip Demon Drop, it has metal wheels, and it's rough. Yes WildCat is another good one. Raptors front seat is amazing, it feels like your soaring though the air. -
Now I'm up to 40.

I've only been to Kings Island, Cedar Point, and Geauga Lake. Cedar Point would be my pick, Kings Island has to many problems.

I remember when I went back there behind the green house, there cars and parts from the old HB rides, Trams, HB benches, and even went back and saw the animal feeding house. I remember you could see the tall black fence, with barbwire at the top, must have been close to 12 feet high. I wish I took pictures but there were three of us in the truck, and I was in the middle.

Multipleseans, I am so sorry to hear that your day turned out to be so bad. Same thing happen to me, or sort of at Six Flags Crappy Kingdom, were a group of kids with no care in the world. Never going back there ever again. But yeah the line jumping is only going to get worse, unless upper management does something about it. Only thing I bought at the park was a Coaster Dynamix Diamondback train, the lady who rang me up was nice.
-
Wow that's just plan bad, all the ride op's saw what happen but didn't do anything.
-
I have noticed on days like today, with a lot of school groups coming. There seems to be more spiting, swearing, line jumping, I'm not saying every one does it just the some of them. I've also heard about that reporting line jumping and then hearing two party's need to say the same thing. Well one or two party's not haven't to say anything if the park will enforce there "No Line Jumping" policy, if the park doesn't want to do anything about it then they have lost the park then. Were from all that KI is closing in the Six Flags rep on all that.

I was at the park to day, got there around 3pm. When we got there there was alot of buses next to that prefer parking. Yeah I to noticed line jumpers, I can't under stand why the ride ops always call out for people sitting the hand rails, but they don't do anything for line jumping? Someone line jumped behind us on Diamondback, the security guard watched him then walked over and waited till the part of the line got to him then he made him leave. That was the only time I have ever seen anyone do anything about a line jumper.

I rode it a few weeks ago, didn't really like it. My legs are to lose in the restraint, so when the train flips over my legs like to cramp up. I still perv er the B&M style.

As of last Friday 34.

Nice Trip Report, I was there to, man that was a lot of buses. Even before 12pm I went up in the Eiffel Tower and counted 172 buses, 173 was just pulling in, I have never seen so many, highest I've seen was 137 at Cedar Point last year in May. I got there for the ERT at 9:30, but got there at 9:50, so only got two rides in on DB. We left around 1pm it was to crowed. Wish I brought my camera to get a picture of the parking lot.
-
Nice TRP, I was there to in the morning. Only got nine rides before we left, before 12pm I went up in the Tower and I counted 173 buses in the parking lot. I have never seen to many buses, we left around 12:30, I could only add my two rides on DB during the ERT, it looked like a Saturday in July.

I myself haven't been on this year, just from the fact that every time I go by the line is spilling out the door. I remember one of the shortest waits was with a friend after work, were the line was in the station. And then the Sunday after a very busy Saturday in 2005 in Oct, I have never seen a walk on to the front seat. That was amazing, I remember last year the MCBR does bring the train to a full stop.
-
Friday night when I was on it DB, the third hill break really slowed the the train down. If it didn't we would have gotten some huge air!
-
I will have to agree with you on that, the second half of the ride on DB is not that forceful. The hill's after the MCBR don't really provide much air-time, more like a few seconds of floating. I was there Friday night, before the rain and after rain, we got on DB were only two trains were running. Then we would have waited five mins for The Beast but no only one train running. So yeah after the rain we felt dissapointed, Beast, Vortex, Racer, Firehawk, SOB, were only running on train, couldn't see Flight Deck. Only Diamondback and Back Lot were running to trains, I was starting to think were afraid to run more than on train on most of the coasters. We should have left when the rain started.
-
Last May at the end of the night, I rode MF eight in a row. The rain really drew the crowds away. That was the most in a row I have rode, up till the first Friday KI was open this year, were I got ten rides on DB in a row, some were walk-ons.
-
That just doesn't seem worth losing your life over, if you ask me.
-
I was there today and got my 30th ride on DB!!! I noticed that after the rain they only had one train running on every coaster except DB and BLST, and like on Beast a five min wait turned into a 15 min wait. And I noticed before the rain came DB was down, people in the line left, don't know what that was all about. But it reopened after the rain.
