  1. I don't like sand... it's coarse and rough, and it gets everywhere... "mylady." (I don't think there's an emojii creepy enough to match the "Anakin Skywalker Mylady Stare" from episode II)
  2. I think I remember them being used during the construction of Son of Beast.
  3. I'm enjoying all of you guys' coaster concepts! Ok... one more and then I'm off to tomorrow's 92° day; which means it's time to help cool off fellow guests Mwa ha ha ha... oh, yeah. It won't be long now... or, well, tall, maybe... Cue the music! ( too soon?)
  4. ^^ Coaster-amnesia? I'm going to have to break out the old "Unofficial Amusement Park Glossary" thread!
  5. You need to be able to read the markers to get measurements for things such as scale, grade, etc. But I can't make hide nor hair of these...
  6. Tables! Yes, that's a perfect idea; something like the sun-shade thing in Action Zone maybe.
  7. Laughs. Giggles. Chuckles. Sni - you know, I'm beginning to get a sweet sense of nostalgia reading this thread!
  8. I get the feeling the dog show will pack the ISP like no other show in recent memory. Off The Charts deserves bigger, more into-it crowds for the quality of awesome music they power out (those legit HORNS... wow!) The Grandstand is a neat place, but it needs a kind of 'bleachers' thing, where people will have a place to actually sit... maybe. It just looks sad watching such an amazing band not receiving the kind of audience feedback they deserve!
  9. LOL! Yeah. I liked the Plants Vs. Zombies mushroom because he reminds me of the geysers at WWC; however, I always have a little fun with these attraction-guessing threads. Those who know don't say anything; those who don't know break out the PhotoShop! ... I do think "Train" is a play on "Terrain," though. I wouldn't have guessed it without "key," but I'm not sure where else the term "Key terrain" is used in the civilian world...
  10. I was looking over the unlighted fountains last night at about 9:30. I miss seeing the lights in the fountains, the tower floodlit (in its original pattern), and all the rooftop lights (now blocked by the broad leaf trees)... and hearing the symphony music.... and so on, and so forth.
  11. Funtown/Splashtown U.S.A. in Saco, Maine...Has a gem of a woodie called Excalibur! Better park than advertised. Castles & Coasters, Arizona... small doesn't necessarily denote dull. Lagoon... surprised I don't hear much more about this storied park.
  12. ^ Appreciate the heads-up. That means I'll walk toward the other side of the park. Think I'll stop by the piggy bank. Time for some WWC action.
  13. I just read that a doctor in Europe sewed a zombie together and brought it to life in his laboratory; but you see, that was fiction, too.
  14. This afternoon was a study in soak certainty! Several geyser "enthusiasts" teamed up to form one of the most entertaining "Squirtillary Battalions" in recent memory! A larger-than-usual group of supervisors, and a technician, were on hand to observe. We put on quite a show--er (see what I did there?) Tally: 24 boats (only go for the full ones, with "dry" screamers), 3 phones and 1 pair of shoes... arrrgh, to the bottom o' Davy Jones' locker, mateys! Only one rider came to express her sore displeasure for being splashed... on a water... ride... anyway, fun was had by all; everyone was laughing. Best times at KI ever.
  15. I see they have installed the lights.... cool.
  16. But those G-forces! Well, that and the amazing view of the Great Red Spot. The radiation might make things a little... tingly. Some riders won't be able to help themselves, though, shouting "O-H" to Jupiter's closest moon...............
  17. ^Although I think they'd start to get bored at around, say, Jupiter...
  18. Nothing to see here. Just some trees, and a few engineers and stone carvers working on an 80' statue... move along
  19. @jdawg1998 - Heard this at the park... It's I'll Never Be Like You by Flume, featuring Kai.
  20. Or, perhaps, a picture of him in a lumberjack outfit, with a hearty ax over his shoulder... Tb, watching for falling timbers
  21. Who could hate Don? You gotta love Don, he's hands down the greatest PR in amusement park history. Don's great. No question! When you find the time, take a moment to read about the great Ruth Voss, too.
