You might be a KI addict if you sit up at night when you can't sleep, come straight to this website, look at the pictures and imagine when you walked where it was taken earlier in the season.

Seeing these pictures make me think back to when I can barely remember. In KIFanChris' pictures on page 1 there is one where you are sitting in what looks like The Flintstone's cars. The ones that just sit on the path and do not move, I remember sitting in those on a rainy summer day in a poncho. I wish I still had those pictures but sadly I do not know where they went.

I like the idea of putting The Beastie title back in and making Snoopy the vulture on top of the sign. At least then there could be one thing I would like about the Nick U. transformation.

could some of those be due to dead awakening? lol main reason why I ask is because I have always loved those songs but they never reminded me of KI until I saw dead awakening Yes most of them are actually, that show kind of got me hooked on a bunch of them as well. Like I said thought there are a ton more that make me think of KI but Dead Awakening kind of helped them out too. Posted from my iPhone!!!

I kind of like the new scheme. The colors seem to blend really well. Like Vortex's orange and blue scheme melds together really well. I think once this is done it will fit right in the area nicely.

I do consider myself a Coaster Enthusiast. Something just pulls me to Amusement Parks or wherever coasters may be. I am also an avid KI Enthusiast and love to learn stuff I have never known about the park. Kings Island is my favorite park and also my home park. I also love Cedar Point and go every time the opportunity greets me. I consider myself as well a History Enthusiast. I am currently majoring in History Teaching here at Eastern Kentucky University. I am also an avid Sports fan. I love Duke basketball with an un-dying passion, Penn State Football, Boston Red Sox Baseball (Baseball being my favorite sport), and I am a big Alex Ovechkin fan. My most passionate love though would be for Amusement Parks, Roller Coasters, and most importantly Kings Island.

I'm not really too big of a fan of front seat rides. There are though a select few I try to ride in the front on. Maverick Diamondback Flight Deck Vortex Flight of Fear Magnum XL-200 (I have to ride in the ejector seat and the back first though)

I love those stats KIFan, I love reading stuff like that. I am hoping for a mild 50-60 degree day with maybe a little overcast and some rain early on to thin out the crowds. But any day at KI is a good day in my book.

Very cool pictures, always nice to see The Elderly being put through a little rest and relaxation.

I always love seeing photos or watching TV Shows that kind of show Disney exposed. I love seeing the drainage pipes in those pictures and how the park looks whenever it is kind of bare in some places.

I have waited over 2 hours for Spiderman before, but that was when I was younger and had never experienced it before. I would wait over that to ride something along the lines (No pun intended) of a Magnum, Millennium, Beast, or Maverick.

The way Reptar looks now resembles Roller Coaster Tycoon 2's individual track section paintjob. the one where you could select the paintbrush and then do what you wanted with each section.

Those are some very nice pictures Dvo. I, like you, have one goal in Amusement Park and Roller Coasters. To get out to SFMM. I really love their collection coasters and would really like to ride X2. I doubt I will ever be able to get out there but I will always have this TR to look back and be like, oh so that's what it's like.

The noon openings on October Saturdays began last year. . . Yes, the noon openings on Saturdays began this past year. However, the park did open at 11am on Sundays in October in 2009. In 2010, they will be opening at 12pm on both days. In addition, the first 10pm closing occurs a lot earlier in 2010 than it did in 2009. In 2009, the park didn`t have a 10pm close until the Friday of Memorial Day weekend (May 25th). In 2010, the first day the park is open on Saturday, April 17th it will close at 10pm, and every Friday and Saturday thereafter the park will close at 10pm until daily operation begins. And, they are open every Friday in April and May starting with the 5pm opening on Friday April 23. I like the new schedule. Only question that remains is will these hours be changed if new management takes over? Thank you to both Terpy and CoastersRZ for clearing that up for me. I really do like the new schedule and that means only processing days to go until the park opens up for the 2010 season. It's inching ever so closer.

I had seen this commercial a while back and favorited it on my YouTube channel, truly a classic commercial.

Those are some spectacular shots, I would love to be up there on a walk back tour or just up there period during one of those snow storms.

I think from here in Richmond Ky. to Cincinnati is about 120 miles. It usually takes me about an hour and a half to two hours to reach the park. Well worth the rive though I must say.

Here in Richmond, just south of Lexington, we have a light dusting on the ground right now but are expected to have 2-4 inches come early Thursday morning. But, for around here we usually have to subtract 2 and then we will have what we are going to get. So I'm expecting maybe an inch at the most.

Have they always opened at 12 on Saturdays in October? I could have sworn they opened at 11 this year. I do like the new hours though, and I am glad to see that the 21t of May marks the first day of Daily Operation in 2010.

It works fine for me but I hardly ever use it because of the lack of merchandise it has. Most of the stuff it has on there is related to Diamondback. It is working fine for me though running Firefox and Google Chrome on Vista.

I think to answer the "Afternoon Delight" question in the article, it is the Starland Vocal Band. I agree with the list as well, I am anxious to see the details on the Harry Potter ride. Universal has a knack with well themed rides.

Very nice detailed look back. The 2000's produced some very unforgettable rides. May we hope that the second decade of the 2k era will produce the equivalent to that, and then some. Ride On!

While were on the subject of Gold Pass Questions then I have one was well, I got a Season Pass for Christmas, first time in 3 years I did not receive a Gold Pass. If I take this pass up to the park for processing can I upgrade to a Gold Pass while I'm there?
