  1. Ahh, good point. I did stop reading it and jsut posted, lol Sorry
  2. If PKI sucks and so does everyone who works there, then what the heck are you doing on this site?!?!?!
  3. Aww man. I thought this was about movie stars or something
  4. I know, but keep in mind you were there for like 1 day and I was there for over 4 years, so I know it like the back of my hand. You dont come no where near that support and its as safe as it can be
  5. ^ Thank god I was not the only one thinking it. Sob_Tom beat me to it, but I was going to say the same thing. How long as disney had its parks and had their parades? Longer then Paramount has. You all need to chill it out and Kat, you already know how i feel from my previvous post. I think KI is doing a great Job since it is only open how long in the year? 6 months and only 3 of those months are full season!
  6. Just in case though, Here are the links again in the same order I had them in my prev. post. click here Click here Click here
  7. It worked for me and those pics have been there for ages. But thanks for the update and I'll know next time
  8. PKIC has it posted as a bowl, but it is known as the drum. Here are some links to the corkscrew. In the 1st one, The support actually looks like its right in the center of the corkscrew. Click here This pic shows it right as the corkscrew is coming to an end. You notice how it is no where near the corckscrew. It is the same support that is in the link above, just a different view. It still looks like it is in the center of the corkscrew and not the beginning nor the end of it. So, I was wrong too. Click here Here is another pic of the same corkscrew, again, different view. Click here Hope this helps and settles some things.
  9. Yea, before the corkscrew. I worked there for 4 years. I know. The corkscrew is where the train starts to leave the "drum", not "bowl". The ride area is not known as a "bowl". Therefore the support you are thinking of is before the corkscrew. Any questions?
  10. There is no support after the corkscrew. After the corkscrew, the ride ends. There is one right before the corkscrew however.
  11. ...and you know this how....?
  12. Its okay. Granted, KI does need to keep up their themeing on that ride. Its a great theme ride and I would hate to see anything else go down on it.
  13. Yea, I dont think its really possible. If so, I am sure Kings Island would do something about it.
  14. If you got the newsletter, it has a link to where you submit it. Its just something so they can see what people are looking for.
  15. i cant hold my arms up, lol. Holding to tightly to the restraints. When you watch the train in the drum, you look like you are really close to the poles, but your at least 10 feet away if not more and never get close enough to where your arm will hit anything.
  16. Man, you havent been there in awhile. They did away with the fog a long time ago. The TVs are on the stands just like they were way back in 1996. The house lights are on now b/c of line jumpers. It got out of hand and FOF was forced to turn them on. Everynow and then, They'll be off. But your right, it does take away the affect of the show.
  17. well, most people fake them if they had them before. They would come up saying that they had one, but lost it and such. Others would make copies of them and change the date. We would sometimes have to call that manger to make sure they were real. People had their ways.
  18. No one is really suppose to know they exist, that is why we act stupid at 1st until you tell us what exactly you are talking about and from what ride. Most ops do this b/c a lot of people try to fake them.
  19. KI tries to be the same way. You are not allowed to ride in uniform unless you are "test riding" your own ride. That is a parkwide rule and is ment to be carried out on all rides.
  20. I wanst being rude. I just said to search for these things before you post. You can find most of your general questions about Kings Island at www.pki.com.
  21. There is more then just pushing buttons or checking restraints. You have to guest relate consently, and if you are a supervisor, you are in charge of 1-3 rides, depending your crew size (6-9). So, yea, it may be easy if you see us, but we have to deal with guest situations, brake downs, guest relating, height checking, and a whole bunch of other things. But it is fun and I wish I could go back.
  22. I'm suprized they would do that. You think the pipes would freeze up and break. Well, at least i think they did, lol. I was younger, so i could be wrong.
  23. James, I didn't realize you were that much younger than I am. I was 13 when Top Gun opened. I was 10, only 3 years younger
  24. failed how? I remember when i was a little kid, I loved winterfest. they had ice skating on the fountain and had shows in the paramount theater.
  25. i'm sure there are a few footers in some locations, such as where no one really goes.
