so... basically my awards are useless? grrrrr..... Well, I announce: The UNOFFICIAL PKIU Awards! [/spoof of italianchef's book title] Come and watch as celebrities such as Charles Infosino and... well... um... Italian Chef help hand out awards such as "Ride you most like to see burn to the ground" and "Poster most likely to be CEO of a major coaster company (B&M, Intamin)". It all takes place right here on PKIU! I'll try to have categories posted and begin taking suggestioons for the three bonus categories tomorrow. I don't care if Aaron was already planning one, I'm still gonna do it.

Ok, I got this idea of having an awards thing on PKIU. It would be just for fun and our amusement. There would be categories such in three topics: Relating to PKI Relating to the PKIU Forums / Web Site Not relating to either PKI or PKIU Examples would be: (PKI) Best Overall Ride Most Disorienting Ride Ride with Best Theming Best Shop/Stall Ride most wanted to be built in future (PKIU) Best Overall Poster Most Unreliable Source for Rumors Best Employee Best Guest Most Annoying Member (Not related) Best Website Other than PKIU Best Song Best Movie Best Game I would set it up and have the categories selected myself, but I would open voting to other users for one extra category for each division. Then Posters would vote for nominees, and then the final vote. So does this sound like a fun idea?

Even more crappy artists! I saw Jump5 when I was at the Britney Spears concert some time ago. Yes, me at a Britney Spears concert. I was with a friend who liked pop and it was his birthday, so I sat through it, and laughed about the blatantly obvious lip synching. Back on topic, I saw Jump5, and they sucked profusely. I mean, the whole crowd was sitting down, not listening. If they were listening, then they were booing (which was heard throughout timberwolf). I still remember seeing everyone leave the concert before she did her "big song" at the end.

ah, I get it. "Blast from the past". Too bad I wasn't alive when most of these great things were still up. My oldest memory of PKI is the cowboys and indians on the train ride. The rest I do not remember.

Right, it never said they were demolishing the water park. They could just be re-doing it all.

"The 15-acres of land currently occupied by WaterWorks water park will be utilized for future park expansion in 2004." True, this could mean water park expansion. I really hope they just take it all out.

Good ridance. I never went to the water park last year, and I never liked it. If this is that they are just putting in a new water park, it better be a whole lot better than WW. If it is a new area to the regular park, THANK YOU PKI!!!

A couple things... FoF line is always long, except in the morning and before park closing. Look for me at the rock shop? um... why? I didn't like Spellbound much either, it's ok, some of the tricks were cool, but overall, not good. Eagles & Monster RULE!!!

Actually, it sucks. TRTR is a coaster FoF has a barrel roll after final corckscrew The Eiffel Tower is grey And the list goes on and on... I must say, trying to recreate the entire park is an accomplishment in itself. I can make recreations of certain rides, but not the whole park. I will be posting my park online soon, just gotta build 3 more coasters, then I will post (this way I will have 17 coasters!!!)

I remember PKI advertising Reptar all over the place! I still remember seeing a news article in the paper about it and hyping it up because it was the world's first inverted kiddie coaster.

Yes, Reptar was the new "big" attraction for that year. Flight of Fear was my fav addition/change of that year though.

I think most of these rumors are getting far fetched, but oh well, at least it's keeping the rumor mill turning and making some people go crazy about not knowing what is to come.

I am actually getting into coaster photography myself. I was a shutter-bug at KBF and SFMM, but the pics werent very good cause it was a disposible camera. I found an old camera I got a few years ago, but never used, so I might try that out at PKI some day!
