Why would your neck be geting obliterated? I don't know, maybe the insane roughness of the Backwards Train has something to do with it. Please don't condratict that opinion, everyone has there own and it's pointless to argue over it, especially since it doesn't matter anymore. If that were true then why do you even bother posting your opinions and arguing or creating discussion with others when they post their opinions? These boards are for discussion, when you post something you put it up for everyone to see and to allow them to discuss it, unless its prohibited by the terms of service. If you don't want anyone to disagree with you then maybe you should just keep it to yourself.

Yes, but that does not mean that the ride features a 200 ft. drop. It is saying that if you measured from the highest point of the ride (the top of the first hill), to the lowest point (the quick dip right before the second lift), there is about a 200 ft. difference.

Isn't there supposed to be something with a Gopher to tell us how many days of winter are left? Or maybe its a groundhog...

One of those statements could be said for other parks in the area as well.

rcfreak, you were instructing other members to get back on topic, when they in fact weren't off topic. When a topic gets out of hand and is off topic or another terms of service rule is broken, a moderator (Me, CoastersRZ, Captain Nemo) or an Administrator (Boddah1994, Dane, or zosobeast) will take care of it. I was pointing out that the members discussing SFKK in this topic were discussing subjects relevant to the topic and were in fact not off topic, also that there was no reason for you to tell them otherwise. This wasn't to be mean, but to tell you the rules. Now, I already posted to get this topic back in the direction it was going, so please, continue to discuss the topic at hand, because the topic of moderation is over. Any questions, always feel free to PM me or another staff member.

How were the Deja Vu coasters evacuated? Also, is it going to be a major disappointment that Twisted Twins won't be operating when i visit.

But really, listen when I say leave the moderating to the moderators. Members on here were discussing topics within the terms of service and that were relevant to the topic at hand, if you do not wish to discuss them, then don't. If they wish to, then they will.

I believe Face-Off has had the catwalks along its lift since it was originally installed, however there is no catwalk on the cobra roll. Edit: I meant "Invertigo" not "Face-Off"

Wooden roller coasters can be very temperamental and ride experiences can vary from how much grease is on the wheels/track, the temperature, the weight on the train, etc.

Yeah, I am looking forward to Chang. I don't care for Mantis but Vortex at Carowinds is great.

No, I have not, and truth be told the only reason I really am going, is because it has the best deal on Six Flags passes, which are good at all Six Flags parks. Originally I had planned to go to Six Flags over Georgia and Carowinds with some folks over spring break, but a speeding ticket and lack of funds put a damper on that. I still have plans to make the drive out to Six Flags Great Adventure this summer, so I plan on at least visiting SFKK once, getting a pass, then using said pass up north at Great Adventure. However, due to my interest in the history of Lesourdsville Lake, and enjoyment of wooden roller coasters, I am looking forward to riding Thunder Run.

Thats a shame that Twisted Twins won't be open, I love me some wooden coasters. Thunder Run looks promising though! A 150 ft. ferris wheel!

I wonder how this will affect Kentucky Kingdom's re-hiring process. If they are like Kings Island and Cedar Point they probably already have begun hiring new associates and rehiring returning associates, many of whom I am sure are under 18. I know if this was the policy of Kings Island, they would have trouble staffing their rides in the summer. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Well a regular adult admission ticket is 35 dollars, if you are going to go twice it may be beneficial to just get a bass and save some money. 50 dollars for a pass isn't bad, thats what I plan to do, visit SFKK once, and some other flags parks elsewhere. Question: How is SFKK with pass processing, is it a long, bitter experience like it seems to be at Kings Island?

So I guess if Don Helbig, media director of Kings Island, asked us to quote him as saying something and Boddah1994 posts it, you don't find it factual? I agree though, would be nice to have a link to any actual press release.
