That is not the same color as Steel Venom, the track has been repainted. X flight was repainted at KI when it became Firehawk. Dominator is receiving a new paint scheme at Kings Dominion. So far it seems Thunderhawk is the only one of the relocated GL coasters keeping its original paint scheme. I love Flying Phil's aerial photos. Does this guy fly and shoot at the same time?

Will Bubba Gump's Name Change? Now Confirmed
Gordon Bombay replied to coaster_junky's topic in Kings Island
There is no longer a need to buy anything at subway or Quzno's......you can't beat Jimmy John's! http://www.jimmyjohns.com/ - There's one in Mason off of Fields Ertel.....I call for a KIC meet up day.....Jimmy John's and Kings Island! Although if you want a good philly cheese steak in Cincinnati nothing beats Jersey Mikes. Oh yeah, Bubba Gumps.....Chef what "good reason" do you all the suddenly have to believe its not leaving. Not saying your wrong, just wondering why the sudden change of attitude. -
Jackson, this is THE LAST TIME i am going to warn you. Since yet again, you have ignored any private messages sent to you and continue to violate the TERMS OF SERVICE (http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4128), I am forced to remind you....again (just as i did yesterday) that one word responses void of content are prohibited on this site. See the third terms of service rule: This is the final time I am going to warn you, myself and other members of this site who have complained have been patient, but you have failed to listen when anyone tries to help you learn how to post properly.

Cedar Point sticks with Snoopy
Gordon Bombay replied to UncleHenry's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
You seem to get the talking part down, your posts just are not clear and usually lack any logic or reason in them to make a clear point, nor do you listen when others try to correct and help you, nor do you read the entire topic. Your posts typically appear out of context, random, and pointless. I'm not saying this to pick on you, but others have numerous times tried to point it out to you and lend you a helping hand, most notably Interpreter and CoastersRZ. I don't mean to say it out in public, but I have tried to PM you to lend you a hand and you just ignore it, hence why its out in the open. -
Jackson, since you don't reply to PM's do I need to remind you....again....about one word replies?

Cedar Point sticks with Snoopy

I still fail to see any logic in your post. -
No, I mean the lap bars look different from what they were before. -Where before what? They never changed.

Cedar Point sticks with Snoopy

Now, that's unrealistic. Most people don't know whether a ride is relocated or not, whether it's a clone or not, whether the same name was used on another coaster, ect. Most people care about one park and one park only: Their home park. Which is exactly the point the person you quoted was making. What? That makes no sense at all? What point are you getting at? -
Top Gun please post any more pictures of those cats that you might have as well as numerous links to the youtube videos!!!!

I read what you said, and it seemed as if you were trying to imply you have inside information (which I doubt) and that you were trying to imply KI is getting a B&M in 2008 (which it is not).

Look at the posts above you...as Top Gun said....they are the exact same.

Once the pics are on your computer go to www.imageshack.com and click "choose file". Then browse for the pictures on your computer and select one. Click "host it" at the bottom of the page and give it a second to upload your image, it will then take you to a new page. On that page copy and paste the link under "hyperlink for forums" into a post on this site and then hit "add reply" and the image will show up.

Cedar Point sticks with Snoopy
Gordon Bombay replied to UncleHenry's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
For the last time; Hispanic Americans, or any nationality, race, or creed of people don't have anything to do with the new Snoopy themed section at Cedar Point, so how about we stick to the topic... -
Gordon Bombay goes to historical Philadelphia
Gordon Bombay replied to Gordon Bombay's topic in Trip Reports
Film? What is film? Confused. Film in most cases still takes sharper, clearer pictures with less grain than most digital cameras. It takes about 11-13 megapixels to get along the same quality of 35mm film. -

haha, thats what my dad was saying, I knew they had one in Veteran's stadium after some really nasty fights in 1997, not sure if they added one to the new Lincoln Financial Field. -

He meant no offense by the United States of Mexico comment, there was an even article of the same name on the front page of TIME magazine a few years back that discussed the country's economic development and growing prosperity, he was not intending to use it as a rude comment. There is no need to turn this topic into a topic about race or politics, especially when that was not raptor's intent. -

No, they haven't always boarded that way, I think you misunderstood me or I wasn't clear. You still board in 3 seperate groups but in each group you have a number then line up in sequential order (You get earlier numbers by claiming your boarding pass at the gate first or by printing it offline). Once you've boarded the plane you are free to sit wherever you went, there are no assigned seats, just boarding sequence numbers. The new policy started on November 8th: http://www.usatoday.com/travel/columnist/g...ly-policy_N.htm Thanks KIBeast! Be careful at those Eagles games, I hear their crowds are really rough. -
^I'd like to see them pkifreakhog. The lights at the top of the lift hill are on a timer that during the regular season come on at the same time, you can see them on at night sometimes too. They wouldn't be testing anything at 6:00 at night considering maintenance is long gone by that time of the day.

Yes, I am aware of what the lifeguards job is. Also, how do you know there was a cut off switch at the top of this particular slide? This is a park in California in 1997, not Carowinds when you were employed there. I see from your signature you currently work at a water park, 10 years after this incident, we don't know exactly if these slides had an emergency stop or who even built them. There's not enough information given about the life guard to really blame him/her or alleviate them of the blame.

True, the reason it happened was clear.....the kids did something stupid, but that brings up other questions that challenge the credibility of safety in a water park. This event has everything to do with safety in water parks. Perhaps had security acted more quickly or had the ride attendant acted sooner something could have been done to stop it. Luckily this was an incident where only the folks in their party were hurt, but what if someone unrelated to their group and innocent was hurt as well. How safe is the water park for them. The incident brought up a good question.....how safe are you when visiting a water park whether its the way the park is maintaining and regulating things or other people acting stupid.
