  1. I believe Grizzly always came in last even with SAO (Standing and Operating) Sonny. Italian Jobs for what should have been selected in first place. Addams' Family Coaster - now Mystery Mine.
  2. Well, I do not quite agree with seating but you are right. DB and Timmy 232 are quite different. DB is more like Behemoth. Timmy 232 is more like Nitro. I love the right side of Timmy 232. If you are going on opening Sunday, do not expect a big crowd. Two years ago (the opening weekend for Timmy), I rode Timmy 25 times in 2 hours. Last year, I rode Timmy 16 times and Afterburn 10 times in 3 hours. You get the idea. Like everyone said, Nighthawk is a long wait. Most of the time, they only run one train. The season pass holders get into the roped area about 15 minutes early but no early ride. If you have a platinum pass, make sure to get to season pass parking.
  3. Drop Tower.... 1000 rides this year for me. BTW, WE NEED FLYING EAGLE BACK!
  4. The closing Sunday is usually dead. I rode the Drop Tower 68 times last day of last year.
  5. May be a Sonny's Revenge? I hope. I rode both El Toro and T-Express. They both are as smooth as Diamondback. I know.. I know.. However, the may be able to build some other parts the same way. Both T-Express and El Toro has a turn before the first hill. Prefab with urethane wheels may do the trick...
  6. Well, Bat channel could lead to a Ghoster Coaster or a Ghost of a coaster although that may be a "Herculean" effort.
  7. 400 feet Drop Tower... Hmm... Wing coaster at SFGAm? I wonder how different this will be compared to X2 except for the turning seats.
  8. New dinosaurs arrived. There are truck convoys moving through the woods behind Firehawk. They are entering next to The Beast and Firehawk. There are some work going on out in the woods around Firehawk and Son of Beast. Anyone can see this riding WindSeeker. I wonder what this is......
  9. I am sure that DA at CP will be in nice wooden setting with plenty of trees and shade...
  10. I will try to make to CW on the opening day for this. This one looks more like MF than Behemoth. Of course, this one should have much more air time than MF. No mid course brake. Interesting. #3 would be similar to MF second hill. #4 is 122 degree inline twist with air time. This will be insane element. #6 at 115 degrees will feel more like a loop. #7 will have a heck of lateral. From the diagram, #8 will have mother of all airtime. I believe this will be the best B&M to date.
  11. While MF is a good coaster, I am certainly not very impressed with the coaster. CP does need a coaster though: a wooden coaster. Blue Streak is an ok one. Mean Streak? With The Beast, Grizzly, Renegade, Shivering Timbers, Ghostrider, Prowler in the chain; one would think that Cedar Point would get a decent wooden coaster. Cedar Point is my favorite park but I have not really had desires to go there recently with Diamondback addition at KI. For different coaster experiences, I think SFMM, KD, and SFGAd have more diverse coasters than Cedar Point.
  12. Leviathan? 350 Feet (106 meters) Giga B&M? Really?
  13. I thought SFNE had many more rides than 10. When I only count coasters they have ten. Maybe that is only "rides" they have...
  14. I will still get PP since I go to Charlotte nearly every month or more. I have been there over 15 times in 2 years. With no parking price at these parks, I still think it is a good deal.
  15. Diamondback - 1,987 so far.... (well, 2012 now.) Beast - 1000 ++ All time record: Magnum XL-200 - 2210 as of 2010 (Have not been to CP since). Only 3 coasters that I have been on more than 1000 times. Honorable mention: Drop Tower (Zone) - 3,000 ++
  16. I guess SFMM is a "Goliath" of roller coaster park. It seems like financial "Apocalypse" here. I need to go to California to become a "Gold Rusher". OK. I need to stop....
  17. That would be a "Bizarro" assumption also. I guess "X" marks the spot. Avatar was known as a power coaster.
  18. 1st 18 Six Flags Magic Mountain Valencia, California, USA 2nd 17 Cedar Point Sandusky, Ohio, USA 3rd 15 Canada's Wonderland Vaughan, Canada 4th 14 Kings Dominion, Kings Island 6th 13 Carowinds, Six Flags Great Adventure, Six Flags Great America 9th 11 Six Flags Over Georgia, Hersheypark
  19. Get over it CP. CP is my favorite park, but stop whining!
  20. Ninja at SFOG is much worse. Iron Wolf is another headbanger. Another problem is that it is a kneebanger, too.
  21. I really, really hope that Intamin somehow tops Bizarro and El Toro. That is a TALL order, but I can always hope.
  22. Wally World? They have flash pass and mega flash pass. They are very expensive. I recommend going to X2 as soon as the park opens. After that go to Tatsu, Terminator, and Green Lantern. I am not sure about Green Lantern since this is new and I have not been there in a year. Bizarro, Goliath and Scream are quite good. You should ride Ninja since there are not many suspended coasters left. For Wally World memory, ride Revolution and Colossos.
