I would imagine that is ice and with the grey splashdown pool and the gloomy skies and mud it looks somewhat brown. Coaster RZ beat me -

Even if the MCBR does clamp down I would still look for the return hills to provide plenty of airtime. Look at Apollos Chariot, the MCBR clamps down pretty hard, but bunny hops back to the station provide ejector airtime. I am not worried about the 5th hill trim, the MCBR or any mag brakes. DB is going to be an intense ride filled with airtime, lateral g's and plenty of speed. -
Just a few thoughts. This coming from someone who has visited Indy a few times, mainly for weekend getaways. This looks like nothing more than a Dave&Busters or GameWorks and its funny they dont mention this so called mastermind who designed Universal, Epcot and SixFlags by name. Why not? Secondly when I have come to Indy to go shopping we always head towards Castleton Square, Clay Terrace, or the Fashion Mall at Keyston, occasionaly downtown to Circle Center. Why would I as a visitor choose to go to Layfette Square? Trust me Im not taking my family there anytime soon. I wouldnt expect this to last to long.

Sorry to double post, but I was checking out the webcam and they are working on the 3rd hill/hammerhead area still. Worklights a full glow in these conditions. I am impressed. -

Yes I am quoting myself from December 4th, but as I see this pullout and topping of the 3rd hill, I think I am in love with this hill. Looks like an ejector to me. -
Sandusky Waterpark closed indefinitely

When it was only GWL, actually Great Bear. That place was dead during the week in winter months and was busy on the weekends. Not sure how 2,3, or well not 4 are to survive. -

So hows the weather outside? Anyone checked lately? Sorry Gibson couldn't resist. Back to Diamondback, they may be able to do some more vertical work today, but as was earlier mentioned and discussed in great detail, weather may prevent any further vertical work today. -

No huge surprise. As mentioned before how many indoor water parks does one area need? Especially an area that dies in the winter because it is a warm weather tourist area. Makes no sense. -

Mad dash to the grocery store and freak out since we have never seen snow before... I love the panic that ensues when a snow storm is rumored... -
I just hope the bring the paw prints back on the paths in leading to The Beast. I absolutely loved following those as a kid.

You know they really are just as funny with Mr. Helbig's name in place of Chuck Norris. Although Chuck may not think so. -

When the Boogeyman goes to sleep every night he checks his closet for Don Helbig. Don Helbig counted to infinity - twice. If paper beats rock, rock beats scissors, and scissors beats paper, what beats all 3 at the same time? Answer: Don Helbig. Don Helbig knows where Carmen Sandiego is. TB I think your right Helbig is better than Chuck Norris, move over Chuck... -
world fastest coaster!
RailRider replied to Maverick20's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I agree Nemo, but why not make the layout similar to Test Track? Atleast use the speed in some nice high overbanked turns. That would make it more like an F1 simulator. Right now its more dragster than anything -

A few interesting observations from today. Currently there is a cement truck parked close to Wings Dinner and the station entrance, also looks like the 3rd hill has grown a little larger today and I have noticed quite a few workers working in and around the splash down pond. -
