Basically when you go into an agreement with a credit card company, season pass agreement, even a facebook account you are agreeing to the small print. They write the small print and have many more lawyers to make sure they are covered by it, that's why it is there. The devil is in the details.

All things are in the small print. Every year we see the same thing "dates and times are subject to change". The past couple of years they have closed when it rained for the day an nobody sued them. The basis for being cheated out of 1 day or a season would hold the same water so I don't see this going any where except for lining lawyers pockets. Cedar Fair took early and gracious action by offering the next year free. What if they said that everyone who wants a refund will get one but as a condition season passes would no longer be available to them since those people didn't adhere to the small print. I wonder how many would take them up on that offer? Furthermore they offered anyone who purchased in 2020 the 2021 season as well for not just the passes, but the add-ons as well. Some people are just snowflakes and like to complain just to be heard so they can feel relevant in their otherwise irrelevant lives. They need to listen to the Galaxy Song by Monty Python from The Meaning of Life. "Just remember that your standing on a planet that's evolving......."

I stand corrected. I should have said it held the record in the state until Cedar Point broke the 200ft barrier with magnum.

The Racer is single handedly responsible for the coaster re birth era and should never be touched. Same with The Beast. The Beast held the records for Height, Speed and Length for 10 years. Nothing will ever do that again. Both are ACE landmarks that need to be preserved for their importance of what the coaster industry has become. (Just my opinion :))

I still have my Celebration vinyl album (signed by the cast of course) Best show EVER! Can't find it online, only was able to pull up the Carowinds one. The show after 2 years at KI went there.

I owe Chef Major an apology. I was one that wondered why no tarter sauce for the Cod sandwich at Brewhouse but I finally tried it yesterday and the sauce already on it along with the slaw was great. My only suggestion would be to eat it upside down as the condiments are on the bottom and tend to spill out but other than that I'll be having it again. I made sure to hunt down chef and let him know it was great and to also congratulate him on how he's upping the game in food at the park. While on the subject I would love rivertown potato works to offer an option of toppings (pick pork or chicken, pick buffalo or bbq for the sauce). Buffalo pork may not be used much but I would definitely go for a bbq chicken offering. I may try and ask them to substitute today and see how it goes. Finally I'm hoping next week brings back the macaroni bar. It's always a favorite of mine. I can honestly say now that Kings Island isn't just a place to go for entertainment and rides but fantastic food offerings as well. My compliments (and one apology) to the chef!

Yesterday I also notice them rehearsing a show on the barnyard stage in kiddie land.

You must have a Cedar Point Gold or Cedar Fair Platinum pass to take advantage of this offer. Just upgraded my wife's and I stay to the Horizon Suite room (hoping for 8th floor). It includes a Jacuzzi and a screen in 180 degree balcony and paid $536 after taxes for 2 nights. I was originally booked for a 'tower' room, 3rd floor and was going to pay $560 for 2 nights. The park isn't open on Friday and Tomo's won't be open but even still it is a fantastic deal. You can go to cedarpoint.com to make a reservation. Seems to be only good at Breakers. Put in the promotional code 'pass'. And if you're up the the last weekend, we'll be the one's with the blinking cat eyes in the window

Just got back from Cedar Point. I was expecting things to be not-so great by the reviews I've seen and I could not have been more wrong. It felt just like KI with the exception of 2 things. 1) ALOT of EMT's in red shirts walking around with their packs in the case of anyone needing help. 2) cleaning EVERYWHERE. Everything was either being wiped down or sprayed. On most of the flats they were wiping down seats every cycle. We stayed at the Breakers and it was great. Social distancing and masks were being worn (you always have your occasional people who forget, tapping your mask seems to put them in line). Also even on the beach social distancing was being followed. Also there were signs on the elevators for 1 party at a time and you had to get a temp check every 2 days. They gave you a wristband (they would replace it if it was lost) and you needed it to be on the boardwalk or the beach. We went to Perkins in the hotel and they made sure we all had adequate bands on. There were also tons of shows. all outdoor and all very good. The country show usually in the red garter saloon had a stage set up across the walkway. Nice to see the entertainment department getting some love up there. My granddaughter who is 5 was involved in one of the shows. They would put down hula-hoops to make sure those participating were socially distanced and at the end they gave her a toy yo-yo using "grabbers" as to not touch them. It was very cute. Everything was running and I only noticed about 1 or 2 shops/eateries closed. One other big thing I noticed was on Thursday no games were open at all. They were open Fri-Sun but on Thursday they were all closed up (the ones to the right on the main midway). They must have needed the employees in other places and it's nice to see them not going for the money-grab. All in all we had a great time. Breakers and the park both did an admirable job and we are all glad we went. Kudo's to both the hotel and the park.

Talking about changes at the Point. I can confirm that they are actually building new "deluxe" rv spaces in the space previously occupied by Sandcastle Suites. They have it fenced of as they are not quite done yet, but expect them for next season to be available. (Pics taken by myself).

FYI Cedar Point's web cams are back up! Right on time considering we'll be there the next 4 days so it won't matter till I get back (I look for them every morning, along with KI's) Just a nice way to start the day.

I absolutely agree. But a small investment would go a long way in my opinion.

One thing I noticed that could be improved is there seems to be a lot of confusion on where the line for Orion is. I saw multiple people holding up their cards and getting in line for Flight of Fear. The attendant wasn't very attentive, he should have made sure they were in the right line. A large sign in the middle of the plaza pointing to Flight of Fear (left) and Orion (right) may go along way. Imagine getting in line for Flight of Fear only to realize after your time has expired that you are in the wrong queue. Just a suggestion.

Can't afford electricity? What did they do with the Billion dollar note they got this year to hold them over? Cedar Fair is fine especially now that income will start resuming from the ez-pay arrangements. I think TTD was closed indirectly because of covid. I'm pretty sure they got new parts for the motor and upgraded it in the off season and simply ran out of time because of having to build plexiglass shields, etc. to prepare for covid around the park. A new motor would need more testing. Still haven't heard if this is true but I do remember at the end of last year Tony did say something about a motor upgrade for TTD. I believe the main reason was to have better uptime. I do know it has been seen testing this past week. No change in forces or anything but still a good a ride as ever. From what I understand most of the launch system was EOL and it was time for overhaul. I saw no rollbacks even during testing so maybe a computer or system adjustment to minimize that as well?
