  1. I have seen people get two pieces of chicken. Not sure but it may be a choice of 1 leg or 2 other pieces? Either way rather strange that you can get 1 leg here or a half chicken at Coney BBQ. Not that I'm expecting a half chicken at Grain but you would think 2 pieces would be sufficient. Hopefully it's just a training issue. It is looking more obvious that choices are being made (only cheese at Enriques at an upcharge, less cheese at Skyline) to help the food budget. More and more people are getting the season dining plan, may be time to raise the price next year due to supply and demand the way they did with gold passes this year.
  2. Tried Enrique’s and was a little dissapointed the only cheese option was the Queso and it was and additional $3 so I passed. $2 maybe (like the upcharge for sides at Tom & Chee) but just couldn't pull the trigger at the $3 mark. I believe they had 2 or more options last year, but I could be wrong. Did the Shrimp, Potatoes, Brussel Sprouts (Paid the extra, I'm hooked) and the naan. As mentioned previously the potatoes are excellent and had a little kick to them. Grain & Grill is definietly a fantastic addition. I checked and you may get 2 sides in place of the protien on the meal plan. Might do that to try some more of what they have to offer. The line at Skyline was very long. Again, I don't think it's the staff, but the fact that it is so popular (especially with kids). My grandchildren would always get the kidde dog meal when they were tired of pizza. Really hope they re-consider and move Tom & Chee to the old Subway building and put another Skyline where Tom & Chee is now. Didn't notice a long line all day for Tom & Chee. Juke Box Diner on the other had and a line out the door (again). That place is conistantly busy. People are loving what they are selling and willing to wait for it so cudo's to them! Finally Sweet Spot is really hitting it's stride. The Confetti Cookies are amazing. Also found out that the crew at Sweet Spot are doing all the deserts for the park. I'm finding myself spending money there on the way home.
  3. Had the beef, brussel sprouts and garlic naan. Fantastic! The brussel sprouts are like CP's definitely a favorite.
  4. Last picture of ID showed the track back in place and a car on the transfer track.
  5. It will be interesting how having only 1 Skyline is received. The Bengals just named Skyline their official chili which will add to it's popularity especially with out of town guests who are fans fo the Bengals. In my opinion if they knew Subway was going away they should have moved Tom & Chee there and used the old Chick building for another Skyline location. Maybe this is something they can do for next year if the demand is there this season. IS Skyline ALWAYS had a line especially at the end of the night. With a location at the old Chick building they could have absorbed that business in much the same way. We'll have to wait and see.....
  6. Wouldn't advise it after what happended to the last one over the 2020 season passes. Would only be a waste of time and money. I made the decision to wait and see how it went the first year before making a decison on next season. I believe the intention was right, but just gave the impression of a money grab by the park to me. I guess next they will have the Super Presetige Pass and then in 2050 the Super Duper Prestige Pass. In my opinion, Regular, Gold and Platinum are just fine. They should treat the Singe Use Fast Lane pass as an add-on. In other words you pay for the addition of 1 Single Use Fast Lane Pass per visit and add it to your pass (like you do with Fun Pix, the drink plan or the dining plan). Same thing could be done with the VIP and other perks like parking, etc. That way people can pick and choose what is the best value for them. It would be easier to assess what people are wanting. It's a $210 difference between Gold and Prestige. Not alot of people would go for that, but if it was $75-$100 to add a single use Fast Lane Pass per visit to the Gold card, I think that would sell. Maybe $50 - $75 for the preferred parking add-on. In my opinion that strategy would not only make it easer to know what you're getting, but also would potentially bring more targeted value for the consumer and more money for the park in the end.
  7. The show by FAR had the longest lines for the last 2 shows of ANY show at Kings Island. The lines streached to Delerium on one side and the Main gate on the other. Looking forward to seeing again. (Plus it was 4th in the Golden Ticket for Shows last year.
  8. Seems as though the view on the I street cam zoomed in a bit (can no longer see the top of the tower).
  9. Absolutely fine with the line up. Reminds me of the old days when shows would get 2-year runs. However, back in the day the shows were staggered so every year there was a new show or two. Made it easier for creative to come up with one or two new shows a year rather than all of them at once. Maybe they'll get back to that rotation, it gave the regulars something new to look forward to show-wise every year.
  10. I would like to see pasta/ziti, etc. They could do a Hugo's like at CP. It always seems to be busy.
  11. Hard to tell how much is painted. If it's only the lift hill supports, that could be done in a day or two. I think they can open it without the painting complete. Since KI is only open weekends for the first month or so there is plenty of time during the week to get it done. We will know soon enough when they start testing it in a week or two.
  12. In the past I have upcharged the dining plan with tomato soup (I think it was like $2.)
  13. I agree but they should keep the "true Cincinnati" like Skyline, Greaters and LaRosas. Places like Chic, Starbucks and Cinnebon are pretty much available everywhere.
  14. 4 more cars to be set for Monster and... Racer train is on the track!
  15. Make sure to NOT follow this training video. (One of my all time favorite you tube videos :)!!! (Yes, it's a parody, NSFW (language) and absolutely hilarious!) And here's the original source material:
  16. And as a sign of spring being around the corner the Woodstock Whirlybirds have been spotted back on their pirch
  17. Interestingly enough that also happened to another suspended arrow. ElToroRyan mentions it in his video. No one was on the ride and I think it was when they were transfering it. The car fell about 10-15 feet and wan't damanged except for the bottom "sabilizer" wheel.
  18. ElToroRyan just did a great video on his youtube channel about Big Bad Wolf that shed's light on the original Bat's issues.
  19. Looks like Monster is coming to life on the cams if anyone is intersted. (Any guesses on when the tree will be taken down by zepher?)
  20. My guess is being closed on Sundays didn't help. You have one location that can make food that is not opened or staffed 1 day of the week. In my opinion Chick should have made an exception for theme parks, zoo's, etc. when it came to their Sunday policy. I wonder if CF asked them about that. I could see people coming into the park just to get Chick, however I doubt not having a Chick would keep anyone away. Let's see how many people will be asking for a refunds since the choices of the meal plan changed during the off season
  21. I hope it returns as well. Back in the day when KI had the best shows in the industry they would run a show for 2 years. As I've stated before I hope they do this with Encore as well as release a vinyl album (like they did with Celebration) with a bi-fold cover full of show and behind the scenes pictures and a qr code for digital download. My copy of Celebration was signed by most of the cast.
