  1. If you don't like water up your nose, don't ride the middle slide of the "Pineapple Pipeline" complex. It's listed as a "moderate thrill (3/5)" according to visitkingsisland.com. It's not. Water up my nose is one of the few things about water attractions that genuinely scare me. Anything in that water has a direct path into my body at that point. Sounds like it needs a trim.
  2. People are very sensitive and want to complain. The majority will probably never even go to a amusement park. In order not to have ANY bad publicity the park will change it.
  3. U mad bro? (Wow I've gotta stop saying that.) Great post by the way... I guess I am different. I only use that train of thought when I am dissapointed in a ride and want to make the best of the situation.
  4. I thought that less thrilling equals less intense?
  5. I feel concepts are the best coasters. The more they are done the more they are over engineered. Rides that were the first of their kind from a variety of engineering firms that delivered and got bland over the years. b&m: Kumba Batman the ride Raptor nemesis montu Arrow: Magnum(no one uses triangular hills anymore) Intamin: Supes/Bizarro I305 Maverick Well Intamin is a bad example cause all their coasters are intense.
  6. Not bashing king cobra, but why does everyone love it? I have never ridden it but it appears to me to be a short, one loop, and rough togo.
  7. Cf will make money off parking, food, souveniers at each park.
  8. Ride one of the supes'/bizzaro or any of the intamin mega/mega lites overseas and you will have a change of heart. Imagine magnum with open air trains.
  9. BTR, afterburn, flight deck(CGA), great bear, nemesis, patriot, silver bullet, and talon off the top of my head does not have a mcbr.
  10. This is my reasoning and somehow the conversation went to supes/bizzaro. I apologize if this bothers you bro.
  11. I stated what KI should get next and I provided reasons.
  12. Montu's batwing, notice the radii: Banshee batwing:
  13. Well yeah people drive for miles to ride supes/bizarro.
  14. They could put a b&m giga over there and change the restraints to accommodate 36" or taller. I swear the great pumpkin coaster would be more intense.
  15. KI needs a intamin giga or strata with a cable lift traditional lift hill to get on the map. We are getting a b&m invert but they are a dime a dozen. It won't have the impact on the park as a Intamin giga/strata will.
  16. Arrived at Soak City @ 5pm with my wife and daughter. Played with my family at the pirate ship. Wife and daughter did aruba tuba for the first time. Went to the kids area(place with the huge cylinder of water that turns over) rode some slides as a family. Did two laps in the spring river while holding my baby. Wife and I took turns on the 4 way waterslide as it was less than a 5min wait. I went on rendezvous run as it was a walk on. Flipped over in the tube and lost my mat, finished the ride sliding backwards on my back through the tube and down the hill, it was awsome. Wife and baby were scared. Did the new wave pool for two cycles. IT was about 7pm, so we made our way to the truck. We chowed down on turkey sandwiches and water. Went into the park and got my baby Sally a peanunts Sally doll. We gave her the option of the small or big doll and she chose the small one(cha-ching) $6 difference. I rode Delirium as it was a walk on. Wife wanted to ride Invertiblow, but the wait wasn't worth it as the baby wanted to go to Planet Snoopy. We stopped and did the carousel as it was a walk on. I love riding it with my baby. As we were getting on I lifted a handicap gentleman off his horse. After the carousel wife and baby stopped at the family bathroom and I saw this gentleman: The first thing that popped in my head was beer, so i quickly bought and shotgunned it by larossa's before the wife and baby got out of the famliy bathroom.(Wife and I does not like baby seeing daddy drinking). I looked over and saw Diamondback down: They sent empty trains a couple time and it was idle for a while. probably 30 minutes. We hit up whirly birds, red baron, peanuts 500. I started to Diamondback and they loaded a train so I was the first one in after they opened the line. Ten minute wait for the last row. I was dissapointed in the airtime. I thought I was going to get air time on the hill before the onride photo but the trim grabbed. I will be going to CP in a month so I will get my airtime fix on Magnum. Wish I had a trip planned to hershey, great adventure, and SFNE but I don't at the moment. I got my parent swap paper initialed as it was around a 30 minute wait as people were funneling in. Met up with the family and wife headed to Diamondback so baby and I hit up the great pumpkin coaster which was a walk on. Great ride as usual. Walked down to DB to meet the wife and she was not happy with her ride either. She is excited for our CP trip as she loves MF, TTD, Maverick, and wicked twister. We hit up joe cool dodgem school where my baby was running into kids alot bigger than her. She did the charlie brown fast ball or something, We then hit up the whiparound cars and the train. We walked over to WindSeeker so the baby can see the lights on it and we sat on a bench and watched the fireworks. Thats a great spot. We then headed home.
  17. b&m = floating air on the downard motion of the hill, kicks in about a 1/3rd of the way down. You are reclined and your back and shoulders will hit the seat cause the train is in motion. Intamin = Ejector air at the apex of the hill, you are screwed.
  18. Does anyone feel train fish tailing during the chase scene and feel the car vibrating going down the subway step scene?
  19. I am always between clicks and it always clicks itself down one at the pull out of the first drop.
