I'm surprised nobody's mentioned that all, if not, a majority of the que line TV's are gone. It's the same as it's been for several years, the only newer part being Rivertown's section.

It's programmed to shut off at that hour. Of course, that doesn't always happen and they may turn off earlier or later. Things with electronics tend to do NOT as they are told sometimes. They may also have been working on the lighting at that hour as well, as the only time we can test/maintain/program them is after the park closes, late at night.

Tower lighting shuts off at 3AM. I've worked past that hour too many times to know this.
-
I wouldn't worry at all... there are still more things for the landscapers to put out for the season.
-
There are 8 lights for the Tower's lighting. And yes, they are synced to the nightly fireworks this year. It is indeed something new/different.

The blue thing on top of Zephyr is it's lifting mechanism, connected to the structure. It's normally covered by a fabric of some sort. Exhibit A

Wrong. It is open to the public. Sunday, the 21st is closed for a private event.

If you actually pay attention, you'll notice a practical change in Manor. -

So, you can sing better than them? -
I always hated working that area. For most of the season, I was right smack in the center by the sound booth. Best spot in the house.

Actually, I believe it was Dallas Moore's band that played a set before the jump. Johnny Combs played about an hour and a half before the jump. I know this much because we were tearing down Dallas Moore's gear as well as the stage and paused to watch the jump occur.

As far as past rides go, I never got a chance to ride Phantom Theater and Days of Thunder. Currently, I have yet to ride: Firehawk The Crypt (With it's new namesake) Slingshot Skyflier Thunder Alley SOB (Post accident) Avatar We'll see if I get to them this season.

Going off of what Ryan said, a burger at Outback costs around $7.99 for a No Rules (Anyway you like it) with a side, at least for my market OB. For an individual, this is pretty reasonable to me, however it would depend on the size of the burger itself. Not to mention, we're talking about a sit-down restaurant with service.

Will The Crypt ever have decent theming?
Mr. Christopher replied to lawchick's topic in Kings Island
Seeing that they already have the positions to place lighting and effects, it seems it wouldn't be too hard. You've got the catwalk that lit the ice field and the Durga wall, as well as 4 side pipes that lit the rest of the wall and the lava pit. I just wish they'd revive the Technoray's for the Durga eyes. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with Tomb Raider licensing. -
Maybe it's a new design.

I've worked at a restaurant that's from "down under" and I can say that so far, I have not seen anything to make my skin crawl. However, talking about this reminds me of the movie "Waiting"...

Top five things you'd like to bring back/change
Mr. Christopher replied to IheartKI's topic in Kings Island
1. License to Thrill 2. Forbidden Magic (Too bad Zigmont retired as a performer) 3. TRTR as it first opened (Blew me away for my first ride. However, I have yet to experience The Crypt) 4. King Cobra 5. The Back Porch -
I'm no expert, but from my brief experience, a ride stop at certain points during the ride (this was with the previous program) would allow the gondola to swing free, until it would lose momentum, then the arms would bring it back to home position. An e-stop cuts all power to the ride, allowing everything to swing freely until it would lose momentum. And it's my understanding that anytime a ride or e-stop is pressed, the show cuts out. I've heard those noises countless times. Nothing that would make me worried.

Simple plan with Straylight Run & Plain White T's: October 30th, 2005. Pretty sweet visually, but the mix for SP was terrible.
