2012 Season: What's New?
Patience is a virtue. I think it'll run in due time.

2012 Season: What's New?
I'm surprised nobody has noticed this, but the clock on top of Kings Island Theater is now functioning again.

2012 Season: What's New?
The loudspeakers on top of International Restaurant are not new; they've been there for several years.

Oops! Kings Dominion web page mistake!
While everyone has their red pen out, I'm surprised nobody has brought this mistake up: I'm not sure what an "amenitite" is...

The Crypt: Gone for 2012!
I would be. Why let it take up valuable space?

Bye Bye Crypt

Barely. I wonder if lights from a certain spectacular could be repurposed to the front of the tower...- Color Me Surprised
I'm sure it's not that they merely realized that it needed to be painted after all this time, but that proper planning had to be made.- Ed Alonzo’s Psycho Circus- Magic and Mayhem

Before the "carnival" theme was moved from Coney Maul to Nightmare Alley, it played a 45 minute long track, so it's a bit tough to narrow down your search. Here are two tracks that feature your Ringmaster: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhjEVO0_FoU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYYFOowsFfk As for the Howl-o-Fest music, that's harder to narrow down. There were separate tracks at Front Gate, The Picnic Grove/Waterpark Walkway, and the rest of the park; the latter being several hours long.- Nearby housing options?
Don't know if it's in your price range, but Island Club Apartments is literally a minute down the road from the service entrance for the park. I believe they have flexible lease terms. http://www.myhillsapartment.com/island_club/content/index.html- Review: "Way Too Much TV"
If you're referring to Festhaus, those aren't LED. They're Altman Zip Strips and they were put up for Haunt last fall. There certainly isn't a written law on how to use a lighting fixture. You don't HAVE to use a cyc light just for lighting a cyc. Lighting is all about trying different things. There are methods and common practices, but that doesn't mean you always have to follow the crowd... you can change it up sometimes.- Review: "Way Too Much TV"
I wouldn't say the sound and lighting were upgraded. Certain elements were added on, but the core of it hasn't changed in a while. Don't forget the video rig either... the two projectors weren't cheap.- Snoopy's Starlight Spectacular
I meant twinkling in respect to the tower lights. The lights on the front certainly don't "twinkle". I'd be interested in seeing what this new system has in store for guests...- Snoopy's Starlight Spectacular
Define "twinkling"... Also, the different colors create visual interest. It isn't always yellow and deep violet. Would you rather have just white light like it used to be before the system was put in?- XGatorHead's KI Adventures
Those themes were written back in the day with lyrics, they were just aired with instrumental versions. It would look stupid for Way Too Much TV if all they did was dance around to instrumental themes. You have to add vocals.- Way Too Much TV Logo
Everyone's a critic around here ... I personally like the logo. It's a bit of old mixed with new. I can't wait to see the show!- Friday May 22nd Crowds?
They're performing on the 24th only.- Collective Soul at Kings Island
With Pyramid Productions doing audio, you should hear it no problem.- Collective Soul at Kings Island
I don't believe Crooked X is performing. There will be another group to fill their spot.- ASA Action Sports World Tour Coming to Kings Island!
Collective Soul is performing at Timberwolf. Also, you can't miss the ramps where they're going... All shall be revealed today at 2:00 PM.- Little Things You Notice
I'm surprised nobody's mentioned that all, if not, a majority of the que line TV's are gone. It's the same as it's been for several years, the only newer part being Rivertown's section.- Eiffel Tower Lighting
It's programmed to shut off at that hour. Of course, that doesn't always happen and they may turn off earlier or later. Things with electronics tend to do NOT as they are told sometimes. They may also have been working on the lighting at that hour as well, as the only time we can test/maintain/program them is after the park closes, late at night.- Eiffel Tower Lighting
Tower lighting shuts off at 3AM. I've worked past that hour too many times to know this. - Color Me Surprised
