Kings Island needs a year round, board from non park side during non park hours/days, all year, or ride side. Near Intl street, and maybe a couple retail stores, a few restaurants would be awesome!

Very well completed post: for the future of KK, yes HW, KI, two parks nearby, and great parks at that. HW and KI having 3 great wooden coasters each for sure,

Demand has been very high, and thus far only open to Gold Pass Holders, so time will see how this place gets. But the Slides are very in demand, :The moose out front should have told you"

This also happened: Season Passes & Gold PassesThe demand for season passes to Wet'n'Wild Las Vegas has been so overwhelming we've stopped selling both our Gold Passes and Season Pass for the season. We hope you understand, but this decision was made to ensure our current pass holders and future guests can enjoy a world-class water park experience throughout our 2013 Season http://www.wetnwildlasvegas.com/#block-1

Quick trip Report: Wet N Wild Las Vegas; Myself being able to go to the orginal Wet N Wild in Las Vegas, that one you cannot compare to the new one, like comparing apples to oranges. Great Start to something Las Vegas has wanted this Wet N Wild (same owners as Hawaii, and Phoenix). This time in the suburbs way out in the desert valley. We went Saturday 5/25/2013, Opening day, where memorial day is only open to gold season pass holders throught Monday the 27th of May 2013. Regular season pass holders can go on Tuesday, and then in June day ticketers will be accepted. The park is great, built well, and will be a staple in the park for a long time. On this trip the lazy river was nice, typical lazy river zero entry was nice, no tubes (unless you are a gold pass holder, or rent one. ). Lockers were all electronic wristband you put on your wrist all day for a good size locker about ten dollars. The Kids area was incredible,(built on a island surrounded by the lazy river). and the wave pool went to a depth of about 5ft 11 in, with good waves. The entrance to the park is done by scanning your season pass and a finger ID. Great park, and nice addition to the desert, well needed addition to the Vegas Valley.

Love the topic of fords, but made me think a Caroll Shelby GT Giga! That has a ring, and does not have a snake name in it per say! To 2014:

Good-Bye Coney? River Downs Racino Looming
westcoaster replied to pilotank's topic in Coney Island Central
Did anyone get pictures of the cruisers yet, I seen a picture of just the front point from driver perspective: -
Beech Bend is a great park, (something for sure disappearing in America), sad indeed. I've been on bad days to Cedar Point, Kings Island, and drove elsewhere, and had great days. Rides are going to have problems. However Beech bend does its best, and heck the owners built the rumbler, instead of Retiring, great story. If you are a lake cumberland fan, beech bend is not far to bowling green, also try a smal Somerset water park Somersplash: So to beech bend:

Could this have been the coaster earmarked for Knotts? I'm thinking yes : It seems more and more with the great pictures its a coaster!

Could there be other stuff to come besides just a coaster?

The Entrance to The Beast (Bring Your Camera)
westcoaster replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
Maybe they will add more in rivertown, and bring it back to its former glory: Kings Island is such a known park up there with fans from coast to coast, like the other big parks, like Knotts, disney, yes even six flags texas. Kings Island is lucky this year in River town a full service food place, diamond back and The Beast a couple of flats (themed to river town would rock). -
As much in history of Kings Island the first thought for my favorite ride was a replica of Cincinnati's coney island shooting star. Kings Island made a great decision and built the longest wooden and still my favorite coaster BEAST: Favorite ride at the park!
-
Its for sure all speculation at this point, however could it be they are clearing lots of land for multiple additions over multiple years? I'm thinking a few flats, and a medium size coaster for now? Just my thoughts though:

I would love to have the log boat! Sounds like a great way to clean up the place, and see what the new Beach is. Benefits Goodwill: Even though one of my favorite rides are not opening (all the way farthest north you can see on the Expressway), where you go through the different pools then drops. The Beach Waterpark Come join us tomorrow May 4th from 9am-1pm at The Beach Waterpark for a huge Yard Sale hosted by 103.5 WGRR. There will be over 100 vendors selling unique one of a kind items. Do you want to purchase a Log Flume Boat? You will have the chance tomorrow! The Beach will have items for sale too! The Yard Sale is benefiting Goodwill Industries International, Inc.. See you tomorrow!

westcoaster replied to FOFreak's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Not far from Santa Clause, in Frenchlick I think! I forget the town, the one with the famous spas. Pretty cool Indoor Waterpark/resort we liked it. -
Agreed get on with the announcement, of opening, closing, tearing down, something concrete.

A Taste of What's To Come
westcoaster replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
what a great addition to the park! -
I like the park the positiveness of trying to reopen I'm ready for a auction and bulldozer, if it truly was so great to operate there maybe six flags would stay, I think at this point farther out in louisville away from goverment, the state fair board etc.

westcoaster replied to Oldiesmann's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
