I do enjoy the old Carousel at Kings Island. It brings back memories of my childhood going to Fiorest Park in New York.

Sorry, but I disagree. "The Fairly Odd Coaster" seems more appropriate to Nickelodeon Central than "The Beastie". As far as SOB is concerned, I'd rename it, "Why am I still here?"

Thank Goodness that GWL only allows its guests to use the water park. I've been to GWL three times and it always had a full house, so the lines were significant. It's an awesome place. I've also been to CoCo Key, which also has a water park and allows guest passes. And the lines were much smaller. Why??? GWL was designed for the sole purpose of entertaining guests in the water park and giving them a complete experience with the hotel, restaurants, etc. The Sheraton has been around for quiet a few years and CoCo is a recent addition. Most of the Sheraton's guests tend to be business people who are not necessarily interested in the water park. I guess they's rather read the Wall Street Journal. Also, I don't think that water park tickets come free with a Sheraton room. Guests have to purchase a package. Does that explain it?

I know that neither Star Wars nor Star Trek will come to Kings Island. And I know that licensing makes it especially unlikely for Star Wars. And yes, I know that Klingons used to walk around Kings Island. All I want is your personal preference. If you could bring Star Wars or Star Trek to Kings Island, which would you choose? I mean characters, rides, merchandise, and even an eatery. If you could, would rather bring Star Wars or Star Trek to Kings Island???

I voted for dark ride themed to Spongebob - but I want a dark ride withOUT SpongeBob. I want a sci fi themed dark ride. KI needs more indoor rides because it does rain. Best regards, Italian Chef

Certainly the Hanna-Barbera cartoons were more child friendly than Nickelodeon. Of course Hanna-Barbera was a product of its time like me. I grew up with H-B and prefer it to Nickelodeon. My son went through a Nickelodeon phase, but now he prefers to watch Boomerang (old H-B toons) with or without me. However, most of today's kids prefer Nickelodeon and that's why NU is at KI and H-B Land sadly no longer exists. Best regards, Italian Chef

Thank God they saved him. My son will be 4 next month and we've been to CoCo Key Water Resort, Great Wolf Lodge, Boomerang Bay, The Beach, and Coney Island. So this story hits close to home. Great job lifegaurds and nurse! Italian Chef

I have no figures. My assumption is that a new campground won't bring in as much money as a new ride. Hey, I could be wrong. Personally, camping isn't my cup of tea. Public bathrooms and the outdoors don't appeal to me. I like the private bathrooms, cable TV, and comforts of a motel/hotel room. Best regards, Italian Chef

I know that Cedar Fair has no legal connections to either DC or Marvel Comics and that CF probably wouldn't spend the money to do so. However, if you could choose whether Kings Island would have DC Comics characters and themed rides (such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman) or Marvel Comics characters and themed rides (Spiderman, Hulk, Fantastic Four, etc.), which would you choose???

I miss the Hanna-Barbera characters walking around International Street and what was once Hanna-Barbera Land. After SDATHC is removed from Kings Island, there will be nothing left of H-B's historic influence.

I doubt a new campgrounnd will arise because it is not as profitale use of the land as say expansion would be.

I would like to have a wedding ceremony at International Street between the foundation and the Eiffel Tower. And my wife might go for the idea, too.

I think it will be better because I don't much care for backwards. If both Racers go forwards, I'll be able to get on either line - whichever is shorter.

New names would be cool. And I'm sure that they will eventually come, but probably not this year.

At present Flight of Fear is the only science fiction themed attraction at Kings Island. Even before Cedar Fair purchased Paramount Parks, the Klingons were long gone. Would you like to see more science fiction themed attractions at Kings Island???

So sorry to read your story. Rain can ruin a day an amusement park,k zoo, or any outdoor entertainment facility. But without rain, our planet could not sustain human life.

That is so cool! I hope to visit the park someday. When I lived in Japan, I visited South Korea and was greatly impressed. It is much cheaper than Japan, the food and beer are better, and it offers superb sightseeing. Plus Seoul has an AWESOME indoor amusement park called Lotte World. What if you were to get married - or renew your vows if you are already married - at Kings Island? Which area would you chose? And specifically, which ride/attraction/place would your wedding be at? How would it be special? Italian Chef

My favorite coaster is Flight of Fear, but the Forwards Racer is a close second and The Beast is a close third.

I wish that this question would've been in poll format. Anyway, my favorite ride is Flight of Fear because (1) it is an indoor coaster and (2) it is the only sci fi themed ride at Kings Island. Best regards, Italian Chef

Wings Diner was my favorite eatery at Kings Island last year because it was a buffet and my son ate free with me. However, I don't know what will become of Wings this year. I hope that the name changes and the same buffet stays the same.
