Word on the street is that all Paramount (sans Nickelodeon) names and themes will be gone this season. However, since Flight of Fear (FoF) isn't "Paramount", it'll remain. Would you re-theme FOF? If so: 1. What would the new name of the ride be? 2. How would the physical theming change? 3. What woudl the film on the line be about? Who would be in it? 4. Any more details? This may sound corny, but I am MORE excited by Paramount names being changed than I am about whatever new ride will grace the park. I wonder if new paint jobs will accompany any of the Paramount name changes?

Indeed FACE/OFF was a movie and it is no coincidence that a coaster at KI shares its name. Hence, expect the name of the ride to change this year.

In 10 years from now Paramount will be nothing more than a footnote in Kings Island's history. I cannot predict whether or not CF will still own Kings Island. But I am 99.9% certain that Paramount is gone for good.

I have visited Coney Island, enjoyed Sunlite Pool and its slides, dined there, enjoyed shows there, and even seen a concert there. In my opinion, Coney Island is an awesome amusement park, second only to Kings Island in Greater Cincinnati. Happy New Year! Italian Chef

Kings Island (and every major amusement park) should have a ferris wheel. But I don't see one coming to KI anytime soon.

I totally agree. It would be cheaper to move the old rides from GL to CP, KI, and others and introduce them as "new" rides than sell the old rides and then spend money on new rides for CP, KI, and others.

As part of the sale, CF was allowed to keep the Paramount names for 10 years. But why wait for the 10 years to pass? Keeping the names only means that CF is providing free advertisement to Paramount and its dated films. That doesn't make much sense. I am very happy that all Paramount names and themes (but Nickelodeon) will be dropped. I can't wait to see what will replace them....especially for TR:TR. Merry Christmas, Italian Chef

I don't think plagerizing Disney's name and insulting its management team will inspire Disney to build a theme park in in the Paris of the Western hemisphere. Don't cry for me Argentina.

My opinion is that FoF needs a new name, a new film, and a slighty altered theme.

I'm certain that the PKI signs will be replaced with KI signs. I applaud the City of Mason for investing in the resources to provide accurate information.
