What Grade Do You Give Cedar Fair for Kings Island's 2007 Season?
I gave CF a "B" for the shows, seatbelts, and live shows. But the drink and food prices really need to come down.

With KI closed, what will you do until it re-opens in April?
Kings Island's 2007 season has ended. What will you with the free time that you usually spend at Kings Island from now until April 2008 when the park re-opens?

Happy Halloween
The Infosino family wishes everyone at KICentral a very Happy Halloween. We hope that you will all enjoy this festive holiday and lots of delicious sweets. And I envy those of you who are at Kings Island tonight. My schedule does not allow me to be there on this joyous evening. Happy Halloween, Charles

Is Kings Island Haunted?
Before one can say whether or not KI is haunted, first one must assess whether or not the term "haunted" exists or is just a fantasy.

My family were amongst the people who got their jackets today.

10/28 Superb Visit - last for 2007
Today I went to Kings Island, its last day of operations for the season, with my family. The sole focus was on Nickelodeon Universe for my 3-year old son. We started the day by riding the Fairly Odd Coaster. Little Chef (my son) was the youngest kid there and had a great time. Then Little Chef rode Blue's Skidoo. He doesn't much care for the TV show, but he loves the ride. Next all 3 of us (Little Chef, Mrs. Chef, and I) rode Lazytown Sportacopters and enjoyed the scenery of Nickelodeon Universe. Little Chef and I then rode Little Bill's Giggle Coaster. After that Little Chef rode Jimmy Neutron's Atom Smashers for the very first time! He was very brave and enjoyed his first bumper car experience. Next my son rode Nick Jr. Drivers - and he sat next to a lucky young lady who will probably dream of marrying him for the next 30 years. Next my son rode Go Diego Go. All 3 of us then rode La Adventura de Azul. My wife liked the scenery. Therefore, she took pictures. After the ride, we saw SpongeBob Squarepants in person and took pictures with him. Little Chef then rode Swiper's Sweeper for the very first time and laughed whenever he finish a lap around the track. After that we saw and took pictures with Patrick Star. Little Chef and I then ran through SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom Bash Foam Maze - and there was VERY little foam. Little Chef then requested popcorn, so I bought some and we had a snack. We then rode Timmy's Air Tours. Little Chef was more interested in the painted bus than the actual ride. Much to my surprise, Little Chef then led me to Phantom Flyers. He was by far the youngest and bravest rider, soaring high in the sky. Next we boarded the Pumpkin Patch Express. Little Chef enjoyed the train ride and the pumpkin patch. Then I treated my family to lunch at Wings buffet after that. We all ate 2 plates each. If you are hungry, Wings is the only eatery at KI where you can get a fair deal. Next my son and I rode Nick-O-Round - TWICE. It was the first time Little Chef ever sat on the horse instead of the bench. Little Chef then requested blueberry ice cream, which I bought for him. While he ate ice cream with my wife, I went to the top of the Eiffel Tower to look at my beloved park. After that Little Chef ran back to Blue's Skidoo for a final ride for the year. He wanted to stay longer in the park, but Mrs. Chef had errands to run. So we left the park and won't be back until April 2008. This visit was the most active of my son's life. Have a great post-2007, pre-2008 season everyone. Best regards, Charles aka Italian Chef

Tomb Raider to be removed?
I spoke to my media contact at the park yesterday. He told me that TR:TR will be back next season.

10/26/07 Halloween Haunt Visit
Tonight I went to Halloween Haunt with one of my friends. It was my third HH outing, which allowed to experience everything HH has to offer. First we rode FoF, which was thrilling. Next we experienced Death Row, which was entertaining. After that we rode Elvira's Superstition, which mocks Magic Kingdom. It is a fun show and Elvira is very sexy. Then we experienced The Worksite, which was fun. Then we did Cornstalkers, which seemed different than last year - and better. After that we rode The Vortex and then experienced Trail of Terror. TOT had a long line, but was worth it. Unfortunately, I was squirted in the face with water. We then finished the evening with Club Blood, which greatly stimulated my interest. However, it began raining heavy so we left the park around 11 p.m. Best regards, Italian Chef

Don't expect me to cry if TR:TR doesn't return.

Has anyone been to Nick or Treat?
My family went 2 weeks ago. But my son was more interested in the rides than he was in trick-or-treating.

Favorite defunt ride
Most definitely the Phantom Theater!

King's Island 10/20
I visited the park on Friday night and wasn't pleased with the crowds either. Hence, I am one of the few people PLEASED that KI will charge separate admission next year. It means that season pass holders like me, will HOPEFULLY experience fewer lines and less crowds.

Tomb Raider to be removed?
Now that CF owns the park and is in the process of de-Paramountization, I think that maintaining TR:TR is not a priority.

Italian Job and Tomb Raider
I'm sure that TIJ will be just fine. However, I am curious to the future of TR:TR. Anyone have any ideas? Best regards, Italian Chef

How Do You Rate Dead Awakening?
I give Dead Awakening a 4 out of 5. It was a sensual show with dynamic dancing, superb singing, and commendable costumes. But the ending was too dark for me. Hence, I give it 4 of 5.

Halloween Haunt 10/19 visit
It's 2:28 and I just got home from Halloween Haunt! I went to the park with 3 friends tonight and arrived around 7:10. The park was very crowded and we had to wait to get in. Long lines - and it was cold. First we rode Face/Off, which was fun. Then we went to Club Blood. I noticed that this times, there were no vampiresses in labor. Still, it was a very entertaining experience. Then we had some beers at Festhaus and afterward went to see Dead Awakening. I liked the show, its costumes, its music, and its dancing. But the end was too dark for my taste. Next we rode Adventure Express (long lines) and The Racer, followed by a visit at The Cemetary - which I very much enjoyed. We then went to Red Beard's Revenge - arh! Our next experience was Trail of Terror. We waited a LONG time for our train. But the trail was awesome. We finished the night with a ride on The Beast - and waited one hour on line! We didn't finish riding it until 1:30 a.m.!!!! Nice of KI to allow guests to ride after the park closed. I love Kings Island. Best regards, Italian Chef

Fall-O-Ween at Coney Island
Even a good steel coaster would bring more people to Coney Island.

What's the height and length of the Boa Squeeze at WonderPark?
My son is 40.5 inches tall and loves Fairly Odd Coaster. Please let me reiterate that I want to know the length of Boa Squeeze so that I can take Little Chef on a coaster AFTER KI CLOSES FOR THE SEASON. Hence, please help me out. Thanks, Italian Chef

Fall-O-Ween at Coney Island
I missed Falloween this year, but greatly enjoyed it last year. If KI didn't exist, I'd frequent Coney Island in its place. Considering that CI is much closer to my home than KI, I'd even switch primary parks if CI had more and better coasters.

Geauga Lake Fans Can't Say Goodbye
I do think that closure is important. After KI announced that H-B Land would disappear and be replaced by NU, I took it hard. I grew up with Hanna-Barbera toons, watch them on Boomerang, and own over 30 DVDs. They have a special place in my heart. On the last day possible, I rode my last H-B rides that I could, took lots of pictures, and my wife video-taped my good-bye to H-B Land. This closure helped me accept it. Nowadays, we have NU and my son LOVES it. So I am thrilled to enjoy NU with my family. Saying good-bye did help me with the transition.

What's the height and length of the Boa Squeeze at WonderPark?
My 3.5 year old son has loved Little Bill's Giggle Coaster at KI this season and recently fell in love with the Fairly Odd Coaster, which is MUCH bigger. During KI's off season, I am thinking about taking him to WonderPark to ride the Boa Squeeze. But I'm worried that after riding the Fairly Odd Coaster, the Boa Squeeze might be too lame for my son. Does anyone know the length and height of the Boa Squeeze at WonderPark in Fairfield, Ohio? Best regards, Italian Chef
