  1. Now that SOB is running again, how do you feel about it?
  2. I am not very excited. With all the trouble SOB has given the park, I think CF should demolish it and build a huge steel coaster in its place.
  3. I voted for Endless Summer on Ice. It is the best show and the only one where the performers can physicially perform feats that most of us cannot do. Happy Independence Day! Italian Chef
  4. Greetings Folks, I was surfling the NET and just happened to discover an article in All About Kids Magazine. It is about the GREAT WOLF LODGE in Mason and a few other places for families to visit. Imagine that! I hope that you like the article. http://www.aakmagazine.com/1editorialbody....;-token.subpub= Best regards, Italian Chef

In my experiences, July 4th has been WAY WAY crowded at Kings Island. But I only visited the park on July 3rd once and it wasn't so bad. Hence, I was thinking about visiting KI on 7/3 after work. Do y'all think it'll be really crowded? Would I be better off waiting until Friday night? Best regards, Italian Chef
  6. Farscape - though it was a movie made for TV.
  7. I know how you feel. I live in Fort Thomas and wish that there was a park 1/2 as good as Kings Island in my county - perhaps at Newport. Then I could enjoy the rides much more often. Have a great weekend! Charles
  8. I think that the food prices are fair considering that Kings Island is a tourist destination. But I do find the beverage prices to be excessive.
  9. I have pictures of The Beast, SOB, Little Bill's Giggle Coster, and Scooby Doo and the Haunted Mansion.
  10. I'm not sure whether the caption came from the park or the journalist. Sorry.
  11. 1) Has anybody ate at the happy Days diner? Is it really expensive ? Is the food any good? The food is pretty good. Burgers, fries, shakes, etc. And the prices are pretty standard compared to the rest of the park. I recommend eating there. 2) How strict are they at nick universe about be 54' or under ? I have a 7 year old boy that is 54' already and that is 54' w/o shoes. And we will not be going untill end of sumer.Who knows how tall he will be then. The promblem is he doesn't want to ride any of the big rides and I would like him to ride the rides with my 2 1/2 year old daughter so she will not be so scared. So if he is an inch or so taller then that are they going to not let him ?? I don't know about that. But at 7 years old, I assume that he can ride anything that he can fit in. I reckon the height limits are to keep out adults, not big kids.
  12. Greetings, This month's issue of Ohio Magazine features a story about Kings Island and a certain author. A picture of this author appears, too. http://www.ohiomagazine.com/OhioTravel/rep...FBCDD5BADFA6DE2 Best regards, Charles Infosino
  13. Ryan, Does that FearFest poster in Action Zone feature YOU or someone who looks like you? Charles
  14. Rides at Nickelodeon Universe probably will not be a good fit for you. But with rides like The Beast, you ought not have trouble.
  15. I don't recall seeing one in recent memory.
  16. I have noticed more garbage cans and less litter this year. I'd say that CF is doing something right.

I remember that when Paramount Parks/Paramount/Viacom/Nickelodeon managed Kings Island, the park map was updated every month more or less. However, with CF, it seams that Kings Island has one standard park map for the entire season. I reckon that it is a good way to save money on printing costs. Have a great day! Italian Chef
  18. I never felt safe on those Drop Tower rides. I prefer a good, old-fashioned coaster.
  19. I saw it tonight got the first time. The performers are very talented. I wish that Scooby Doo would've had more stage time and the music would've had some relevance to him. But overall, it was a great show!
  20. I have gone to Kings Island on July 4th several times in the past. Expect the park to be JAM PACKED CROWDED!!!!! And you will have little opportunity to enjoy rides as the lines will be VERY long. I'd prefer to go on 7/3 or 7/5.
  21. In my opinion the food prices at Kings Island are fair and the beverage prices are outrageous.
  22. After what happened to the poor girl at SFKK, I think many folks who didn't select Drop Zone in this poll would probably alter their vote if they could.
  23. I was greatly impressed with Endless Summer of Ice. Kings Island has a great crew of talented performers. I plan to see the show again in 2 weeks with my wife.
  24. Tonight I visited Kings Island with a friend after work. We got there at 6 p.m. and watched "Twistin' to the 60s", which was cute. It was the first time I saw the show. The dancing was impressive, but the musical score could've been better. Next we ate dinner at Panda Express - and it was my first time there. I had spicy chicken with vegetables and chow mein noodles. The dish wasn't awesome, but pretty darn good. I was impressed with the food temperature and seasonings. I'd eat there again. Afterward, we ran to see "Endless Summer on Ice" - also my first time seeing it. This show greatly impressed me. The skating was fantastic! I reckon the older skaters were professionals - and I identified with the older performers because at 35, I'm no spring chicken. Also, I much rather look at older than younger women. Additionally, I was happy to see Yogi Bear and Scooby Doo, though their appearances were brief. The we hit the rides. First came Top Gun and we rode in the front car, enjoyed a beautiful view of the Great Wolf Lodge, and my eyes teared from the wind. Next came Adventure Express, a charming, well-themed, but not very exciting ride. Then we rode the forwards Racer - and in the front car. It was an awesome ride and the wind made me tear. We rode Flight of Fear next and then The Beast. After that, we rode Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle and I got my highest score ever. After that, 10 p.m. hit, so we watched the fireworks show - which was magnificent - and then left. It seems to me that I can do much more at Kings Island on a Friday night than either a Saturday or Sunday. Have a great weekend! Italian Chef
