Worst ride
Delerium. Anything that destroys my Cobra to be built is automatically the worst ride ever. Aside from that, SoB from being rough enough to give me a headache after 1 ride (even after the reprofile)

Whats your favorite part of Face/off?
Sitting in the front/back and FLYING through the station. It feels so much faster than the ride actually is.

Why Do You Like Kings Island
Yeah, but it's right next to the entrance, so I'm counting it. It sort of falls into the same catagory as IJ being in rivertown. I admit that Vortex is a stretch, but I love that thing too much to disinclude it.

Why Do You Like Kings Island
Vortex But seriously, KI has a nice variety of rides. NU is a suprisingly enjoyable section, with a log flume, Avatar (I love that thing), a shooting ride, and a few more good family coasters. Also, Congo falls is fun, and who doesn't love Drop Zone? Finally, Rivertown. All 3 coasters there pwn bacon (I'm counting IJ and Vortex, since they border the section)

Vortex
I think I did a dozen-run marathon last year. But I forgot exactly how many I ended up doing. I think I ran out of time and had to go home after about 7 =( This year's record is 3, and I intend on going for that marathon again when I get home...

Changes for 2007
I already see one thing CF is doing. Yesterday, I noticed in the giftshop a "Fear the Four" shirt. I'm not gonna agree that Top Gun makes the list while FoF doesn't (unless this is foreshadowing FoF's departure), but it definatly resembles the "Fearsome Five" of CP (and possibly other parks)

5/30, the visit!
Heres my breakdown of 'Tex: Backseat (7-2): Sit closer to the exit platform from sweet air. Obvious hotspot is the big drop (sweet floater air), but theres more. Coming off the midcourse, you hop out for a split second before plunging into the screws. Here, you float out of your seat and to the side (reason to sit on the far side: leg room for horizontal air.) Middle or train (exact middle row, dunno what car number): Suprisingly, you still get the pops from the backseat, but it gets better. If your restraints allow room, you get a nice pop going up that turnaround hill, and coming out of the loops.

PKI in Jones
Awesome! Now if only someone would submit a Vortex shot...

The future of Nickelodeon Universe
I actually like NU. I mean, obviously boo for taking Scooby out of the area, and the tunnel out of FoC, but besides that...NU has 3 great coasters (counting Avatar as one) a good shooter, and a nice flume. I say keep it as is...

5/30, the visit!
One of the main things about yesterday was it was my first TRUE solo visit. Now that I have my liscence, my parents let me do whatever I wanted. No deadline as to when I came home, and with our old minivan, I could go wherever I wanted. So naturally my maiden voyage (though technically it was going to work on Saturday) was going to CFKI. First thing I did was go get my parking pass. Then off to the rides! Normally I'd go straight to Vortex, but today I felt like taking on kiddyvill first. I was suprised that Scooby had NO line. So I rode it . 1170, but I came back later with 1550. Not the best, but still pretty good considering the last time I rode was back in '04. Next I started my coaster-thon with FoC and Avatar. I didnt wait more than 2 cycles on either, and got a good seat on Ava (back row, far side since you feel all the force and LIMs.) Then I got to the good stuff. I passed by TR and went right to Beast. I dunno if someone retracked it or something, but OMG it retained its old roughness. I think it was my best Beast ride in years. Next, off to IJ, where I found a short line and no attendant directing traphic. So I claimed front row. Solid ride, and great airtime going up that hill after the overbank. Then my favorite ride: Vortex. As usual, solid airtime, and delicious Arrow goodness. No other way to describe it. After the pinnacle of my trip, I continued my coaster rush, taking a front seat ride on FoF. Yet another great front seat ride. Then off to Racer. Unfortunately Recar wasn't running, so I missed that credit. Only coaster I didn't ride that day... Continuing on, I found myself walking on to AE backseat. Unfortunately no air today. Next I rushed to Action Zone, and took a dip on Congo to cool off (it was HOT yesterday.) After the refreshing plunge, I continued to Face/Off, where I chanted "we are hang and bang" throughout the duration of the ride. After that, Drop Zone, which only had a 1-cyle wait. After that I had to face the terror of Sonny..nuf said after that. At about 5, I had pretty much covered all the major attractions. So I went for a Coney and 3-way as I headed back for another round on Vortex and IJ. After that, and a walk-on to TRTR, I pretty much spent the rest of the night doing rerides... '06 stats: *Vortex-6 laps *Beast-2 laps *Racer(Recar)-2 laps *Racer(Racer)-2 laps *Adventure Express-3 laps *IJST-3 laps *Avatar-4 laps *FoC-3 laps *SoB-1 lap *Top Gun-3 laps *Cheese Coneys-3 *3 ways-3

Voyage question
I was just finalizing details, and the trip may be set back to July due to some retarded difficulties in my friends scheduals. However, I might be able to convince my dad to drive me and my non-SENIOR friends up there on thursday. Highly doubt it though....
-
Voyage question
So does this mean that you can hit most of the good stuff in 3 hours? Because my trip on Thursday will only be from 3-6, due to oporating hours, and my friend wont leave until 12:30...

Pepsi at kings island
I actually prefer Pepsi to Coke. Oh well, either way, it works...(Not like I ever buy drinks anyways)

IJST LIM Fins
Would that effect anything? I know how LIMs work, and I have a feeling paint might hinder the electromagnetics. Then again, I never really learnt about that, so who knows...

PKIC Day
Err...June doesnt work for me. I have this stupid college program that takes up the entire month..I'd say sometime in mid-July (so long as I have a day where Im not schedualed to work Coney)

Intamin track spotted on 275 today!
Well, if it WAS the blue track, it couldnt be heading for CP. I mean, their coaster is gonna be red.

It's official - CF to buy Paramount Parks.
Actually, the same thing happened to SteelDragon 2000 over in Japan. The problem: Morgan coasters chucking wheels. Nothing to do with the owner. Morgan just needs to fix their design is all...

TR: SOB Ride Report
If theres a day I dont work at Coney this weekend, I'll head on over and check it out. Hmm. I've been reading a 2002 coaster book over the weekend. It claimed that SoB was SUPPOSED to be built rough, to fully emphasize its 'fury'. Just some food for thought.

Worst park on earth!
MWAHAHAHA! The thread that froze TPR has arrived. Hopefully those Digg guys wont come here...

It's official - CF to buy Paramount Parks.
*points to old threads* Yup, I called it. Although you guys have convinced me this is almost a bad thing. Hello, more-than-they-are-now inflated prices! Hopefully we'll get a more adult oriented ride due to this. Maybe a small Intamin/BM?

When is enough, enough?
I mean its not like PKI is ALL bad. They do have Vortex and Avatar...and IJ is decent. Sure the coasters might be mediocre at best compared to CP, but thier still pretty fun. And you cant beat Skyline (screw pizza, I'm getting my cincy chili)
-
Lesourdsville Lake/ americana
I agree with CoasterRZ. CONEY NEEDS SOME NEW FLATS! Not that I'm arguing with what we have...I just would prefer to not let them go to waste...
-
When is enough, enough?
I know, but Skyline's better anyways
