You will be fine, just do not let peer pressure make you ride something you do not want to. I remember as a wee lad (here comes when I walked 2 miles to school barefooted in the snow bit) I was so afraid of all the coasters there. Finally a friend of the family who actually worked there full time rode one with me I felt so much better that he had experience at the park then my own family...lol.... There is nothing with being fearful it is a natural human reaction.

Thats a tough question. IMO I would go straight for DB and the reasoning it is a smooth ride. Going on Beast, Vortex or The Racer even will flail you around like a rag doll I hope you conquer that fear, KI has some pretty awesome coasters. I never see myself getting over my fear of DT even though I ride it I still have reservations when I ride it.

IDK. However I see a lot of pairs use that line to gain quicker access to the ride. When they get up there they always ride together. Maybe this is the reason.

It has been pretty crowded most days this past week however the line was no more than average.

I wonder why recently or in my observation at least they have a closed sign on the single rider line on DB? The sign reads single rider line is full however it is completely empty... lol.. I asked about this on two different occasions and the ride op just said it is full. The last time I asked the nice girl said it is full and I replied with "um, it is empty" and she laughed. She knew I knew it was empty. Why would they tell ops to say this when it is clearly evident it is a empty line. Why just not say we closed it for whatever reason.

No I do not have dreams about KI. If I did I would seek professional help.

I do not have one, I do not like the ride at all. Usually most rides I always tend to sit in the front.

I have rode in all positions, its just not my fav ride.

I do not think you will see the death of this ride anytime soon. However it is my opinion it should. It is way back out of the way, I believe it is outdated. The seats are very uncomfortable. And quite frankly it is boring. I do know that a lot of people enjoy it.

My grandapa was good at belting out also when he was drunk on KY moonshine but has nothing to do with Motown.

I would seriously consider we are now in the dead run of summer. I have been to the park everyday this week (evenings) and it has been crowded. last night it was like WOW, where did all these people come from! Sundays are the same well at least the last few.

TY, performing has always been in my blood and I take more Interest in things like this as those who think about nothing but coasters. Even if a show is not up to caliber so to speak it still makes the area in the park seem more alive. And as for Aretha and Frankie being in Motown you are correct, however both were very influential in the history of Motown.

The stage took some drastic changes from years past. I was amazed how nice it was when I sat down to watch this show. The performers were right on mark and even with the sweltering heat and humidity they always had a smile on they're faces. I can not say enough how good this group of young performers are. If you miss this show you have done your self a huge injustice. If you have never been on stage, especially and outside stage and perform a show day in and day out you have no idea how hard these people work. it is amazing. And this young lady really brought it home, well done!

There could be many reasons these rides are down. Mechanical or any reason really, you can rest assure they do not close them to save electricity or save them for a busier day I really can not believe people do not see these signs before they enter the park, scrolling signs at that.

I didn't know they could fill personal items with ice water, that is kinda cool. My experiences in the food industry once something went over the counter it could not be taken back or refiled. But then again maybe that was just the place I worked for. Brown, you ran a business what it the stature with that?
