In the old days, they would unlock them while the train was entering the station. Then came safer operating procedures and stricter regulations which ended the "Arrow Dance". On ID, DT and perhaps Wildcat, all lose articles (except basketballs) must go in the seat with the rider. This is a result of a more enclosed car, tamer ride and short blocks (especially on ID, where there is a small window before stacking on lift 2). However this operating procedure then makes CP's standard loose article policy hypocritical.

^Don't go to Kennywood then, none of the three woodies staple you. In fact Jack Rabbit has no movable lap bar, and on Thunderbolt your partner is part of the restraint. PhantomTheater, who enjoys classic bench seats that allow a little sliding around.

August 1993, Mill Race was still operating as was the Main Midway Carousel next to it. Come September 1st, construction begins with tearing out Mill Race and "carefully" moving the carousel, followed by footings being poured. By April Raptor was completed and testing. Trust me, no construction yet and hard to picture layouts can not rule out a coaster at this stage. If you stood on CP's main midway 17 years ago, you could not see how Raptor would fit.

You found Magnum to be more painful than Mantis? Also, no ride on the Kitty, Blue Streak or Cedar Downs? If so, you missed some of the best rides in the park.

http://www.visitkingsisland.com/public/fun/blog/2010/7/9/Kings_Island_for_the_Cure.cfm That's a big duck! The blog mentions that if you buy your duck at the park, you personally get to chuck it in the fountain. How many times can you legally throw things in the fountain?

Yes, I see people all the time with tripods. However they must either go in bins or a locker on most rides.

As long as you are in line, you will get to ride. Unless, inclement weather or serious mechanical issues arise which would require serious downtime. Remember, after 10, you are not guaranteed a certain seat.

If you have a PP or GP, just have it rescaned at tolls. If you payed to park, KEEP YOUR RECEIPT and show it at tolls for reentry, you must have a pass or receipt for parking lot reentry.

Probably, from all of us who complained to GR about the loud volume.

You lucky dog you, some of us get it blaring in our ears to the point we get headaches.

As most people call it up here, the I-X Center. It's very rare for it to be called by its full name.

The time is from Handstamp to Re-entry.

Have they done anything about those annoying speakers?

Coasting for Kids is coming to Kings Island July 29th
PhantomTheater replied to DaveStroem's topic in Kings Island
Plankton, last year at CP one could stay on the train as long as they please and some did for the whole day! Others got off and rode other rides and what not, as for the ticket I can not help you there. -
The lines for rides cut off at 10 pm, or the first firework for those without a watch. The Beast takes a fireworks break between 9:45 (line remains open till 10) and 10:15 approx.

I suggest the Skyline out by the entrance to The Beach, it's air-conditioned, cheaper and better than the slop found in park. My experiences have out of park time about 30-45min.

CP would prefer if you called it Power Tower as (Superman) Tower of Power was an ill fated ride at SFKK.

^I cant recall, I was finding it humorous that they haven't updated the machines since 2003. -

Some motels in SW Ohio mention you can visit your favorite Hanna-Barbara Characters at Kings Island located next to the College Football Hall of Fame. Also at SFGAm several Coke machines list the superman coasters, including Ultimate Escape at SFWoA and Ride of Steel at SF Darien Lake (still operating sans flags and Man of Steel). -
and You are speaking the truth, 1-3 is Magnum in all it's glory Blue Streak is a true gem, now only if they un-modernized those PTC's Front Seat, it's a fun ride and I will defended it. However those trims most be taken care of! Ride the Kitty, you will like it. People underestimate the fun of a Schwarzkopf coaster. The que is nice and cool, however the ride is an oven, especially the lift hill. Please do not stop on perimeter road (except at stop signs), for your safety as well as other vehicles. Nice trip report, with well placed advertising slogans to help readers 'get to the Po!nt' about the Amazement Park. Did you ride Cedar Downs, no trip is complete without riding one of three derby racers left.
