^I can see it now. THe construction crew will arrive at the worksite tomorrow and one will inevitably say "Ummm...where did we dig that hole yesterday morni......." and he then falls in the hole. I think it will happen at least to one person.

The track is red and grey. The trains are red and yellow.

The suggestion of a Fort Cooper sign was only ment to be a suggestion. My statement was more or less a question as to whether or not the sign would be removed or changed to include Firehawk.

Ok so I don't know if this has been brought up yet or not but just before you walk under Racer there is a red tube arch with the Fof sign on it. Anyone else notice the cincypost article above mentioned "the debut of five new live shows". It also mentioned that the shows would be in locations such as "International Showplace and the Nickelodeon Theater"

I personnaly know a few people that knew the name, myself not included, I didn't find out untill this past saturday. But like Vortexdemon said, it's not worth losing a friendship or a job just to be the first to tell everyone the name of the new ride.

There are quit a few people on these forums who knew. It just so happens that a few of the people that didnt tell, happen to be employed by the park.

I'll admit I may have been wrong if I said anything against you, but you did give us reason to not believe you. You being from Texas and having under 30 posts and all.

Firehawk is now listed under the thrill rides section in the Rides and Attractions section on www.pki.com.

I just hope that Kings Island has a different video. I cant believe that they would just use the video from Stealth.

^^All I can say is that UncleHenry has connections. Thats all I have to say about that. Edit: The video on Cincinnati.com is not Firehawk. that video is from a different but similar ride.

Maybe the reason Firehawk is not showing up on pki.com is that they are updating the entire site to look more like a Cedar Fair website.

I searched Channel 12s website for roller coaster, xflight, and Kings Island and came up with nothing. Maybe i'm not looking hard enough.

Wait i personally know what the track in the parking lot is for because i was at the season kickoff party yesterday. But am I not seeing something here, what thing posted on the net are you talking about? If you wanna PM me so everyone that reads the forums doesn't see it thats ok.

Well there could be some kind up update if they (the people that run PKIC) decided to post the name of the new ride/attraction. lol

No VortexDemon is right, RCDB as listed an unknown coaster at pki for a few weeks now.

As a rides associate you basically run the ride you are put on when you finish up your paperwork. As a beginning associate you won't be able to actually drive the rides for a while, but if the supervisors like you enought they may train you as a driver. Your main duties in the morning are to open the rides. Through out the day you run the ride, check lap bars and help riders strap in. When the park closes you put the ride to "bed", shut everything down and make sure the ride is ready for the maintenence crews. Edit: the reason you need a drivers licence to "drive" the rides. They figure if you can drive a car you can drive some of the rides.

Yeah I have a feeling it will come sometime before noon. I see them making the announcement sometime around 9 maybe 10 o'clock.

There will always be a chance of someone slipping up. But honestly I'm not going to be expecting much tomorrow. I see the park officials getting up there and saying." OK, and now we have a special video to debut our new 2007 attraction" and when they start to show a video it "breaks" (KI has done that before), only to say,"We guess you guys will have to wait until monday like everyone else". They have also made a spoof of tomb raider before construction was ever started to tease the public.

^^ I can't quote exactly when, but I'm sure every Cincy mayor has asked the people of cincy not to shoot each other.

How is it that those are KI winterfest jackets, but Cedar Point is the park thats giving them away? Don't get me wrong I am all for helping those in need, but shouldn't Kings Island have been the one giving those jackets to the needy?
