  1. ....Raptor? REALLY? I'd go Silver Bullet or Afterburn (or even Patriot) before I'd ever choose Raptor. Silver Bullet hurts my ankles. (tho its fun too) Its Raptor all the way for me, lol. I haven't done Patriot or Afterburn yet so can't really have much of a opinion on them.
  2. I'd switch Diamondback for either Raptor or Antique Cars
  3. Some point it was renamed from Oscars to Backstage cafe or something similar before the current name, I think. But I could be wrong.
  4. Desperado! Oh wow been years since I ever heard anything on it. Such a shame it's not on the Las Vegas strip :/ unless there's some sort of shuttle service to/from Primm probably won't be able to do that one.
  5. I know last year I was originally was gonna go to Vegas but with everything that happened with Bonzi's care and paying the bills following his death and what the family went through loosing Troy, Vegas was not a priority and got put on the back burner. Well, after my solo trip to Cali (I am gonna go on another this year later on), my mom wants to go to Vegas (mostly to see Donny Osmond...) and see the Grand Canyon. I figure while she goes see her favorite teen idol from her childhood, I'll do the rides and go see the dolphins (which I'm actually more interested in than the rides but yeah). Is the Big Shot (I think that was the name) still in operation at Stratosphere? Opinions on the coasters? I'm willing for the credit
  6. Yeah I already been planning on doing it at the park. And ugh 5 dollars? I'm such a penny pincher as is. Ah well, at least I now know not to expect any surprises.
  7. I feel like there was another thread, I did a quick search but I mostly skimmed so its likely I went right passed it... -______- So I apologize. I had a Platinum Pass last year, and I found the receipt (I'm assuming its needed) and I intend on renewing it, how much does renewing tend to cost?
  8. I tend to enjoy being by myself. But most of my visits to KI aren't about riding coasters.
  9. In park I like the milkshakes at Graeters. But I prefer eating outside the park.
  10. They continued to play that video through the early and mid 2000s. I think the last time I saw the video was 2007 (2006 for sure). That song/video really does bring back a lot of KI memories. I Want You by Savage Garden....anyone who had to spend extended period of time out in Boomerang Bay its first couple years should look it up and see if it jars some memory, lol. And for some strange reason "Spanish Harlem" by Ben E King (imo one of the most beautiful songs I ever heard) makes me think of KI now.. Curious anyone know who it was that sung the version of Waltzing Matilda that played in the water park? Now THAT would really make me think of KI, every once in awhile it still pops into my head.
  11. Eiffel Tower, train and Antique Cars (RIP)
  12. I've always heard of it as a breeding ground. Dunno how accurate it is though
  13. Thank you! Normally got some sort of date or something on them, so figure I ask.
  14. Firefox does the same thing for me.
  15. A little exercise doesn't hurt anyone I must be minority, I'd rather walk than take a shuttle.
  16. I'm probably gonna look like a fool asking but I'm a curious person.. lol When were these cups out? http://www.flickr.co...157624488694343 Looking more along the lines of which decade than precise year. This cup belonged to my grandpa and I kept it in storage till now.
  17. 1.) SeaWorld Orlando 2.) Dollywood 3.) Busch Gardens Tampa 4.) Busch Gardens Europe 5.) Knott's Berry Farm 6.) IOA 7.) Universal Orlando 8.) SeaWorld San Antonio That's all I got. I need to visit DLand, I may like it and I don't like WDW. KI isn't really a theme park no more and CP never been one really so not listing them either. >.>
  18. That was Zodiac I believe
  19. I Feel for you by Chaka Khan is another. Remember the adorable kitties on the TVs in the queue lines when that song played? ha..
  20. Thanks DeLorean Rider! As weird as it may sound, the identity of the ride bugged me since 1999 (still kind of a kid back then) haha..
  21. Theme from Mission Impossible Star Trek Next Generation theme My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion (Titanic...) Monster by The Automatic to name a few..
