Yesterday (07-04-2012) I was able to swing by KI before work just long enough to catch these shows for the first time. I was pretty impressed with both of them. They did a great job on the costumes and the singers were really good. I was especially impressed with the ladies they got for back up dancers in the 70s show! Just wow to watch and how they can keep going on with such energy the full show. Anyway we all know I'm not one to type long posts so here are a few pics. I made a part 2. I was extra bored and not feeling the greatest so why not try to make the time fly faster today. It starts out with Dinosaurs Alive pics/vids then it picks up after about a minute and a half to the rest of the park.

If you're talking about Alonzo's show at KI Haunt, it just got confirmed by Knott's via FB he will be back there by Haunt time for "Ed Alonzo's Funhouse", so no KI Haunt show just yet.

I could be wrong but if it is a KI Gold Pass then yes, I believe it has to be done through KI, only other option I can think of is buy an all new Platinum through KD :/ (thats the impression I've always been under) If you're able to do that easy pay plan thing, you could do that. Sure beats having to dump over 100 dollars there on the spot. But again I'm really not sure.

Just got done reading that Ed Alonzo thread and just wanna point out both shows I saw yesterday I never noticed one technical issue (as far as sound and tricks are concerned). So perhaps whatever kinks there was probably been straightened out for the most part. I love how Ed never seems to age

Spent the afternoon at the park. This time I decided to actually ride rides so I went and rented myself a locker to keep my cameras put away (tiresome carrying them around). Diamondback and The Beast were the first stop, I'm convinced Beast loves his female riders too much. Also got to ride WindSeeker, Adventure Express (multiple times) and my typical favorite Flight Deck (multiple times). I also saw Ed Alonzo's show. I've always been fond of his performances out at Knott's, this is no exception. He's very entertaining (and as of late I been needing laughs anyway), little bunny is adorable and I also like the dancer's outfits. The train I really try to be careful and not doze but its such a nice ride. Eh Tower Gardens might be okay if not the waterpark in the lounge chairs.

Me personally I loved it when I was a small kid. Back when robots like DAVE and the other (might been second one, don't remember) were operational in the queue lines. It was a sad season when I first saw DAVE's head bowed down (we were there for a rather extended stay and he was like that the entire time but other times I don't know) I think that was right before they started using the queue for "Cedar Point Cemetery" in Halloweekends debut year. But as the years progressed it started to became "meh" though I still liked it on hot days and it was fun riding it with my dad.

The Beast isn't on the ERT lineup? No I'm kind of surprised. I only went to one ERT this year and it was devoted to Diamondback so I didn't pay attention to that area..
