  1. Terpy - Ok looks like the glasses policy is still in place. I never had an issue with that cause I don't wear glasses....yet.
  2. I'm really not sure, though I wanna say yeah they do possibly have it in place :/
  3. For me Raptor forever and always Silver Bullet is a lot of fun though only thing about it I don't like is you can feel the forces in your ankles towards the end and I don't recall such a thing happening to me on Raptor (its been a few years however, I may just don't remember).
  4. You really would have enjoyed it RingMaster...I was traveling there on a smaller budget myself so I feel blessed with decent friends giving me a place to crash. Though in some ways I feel like I accomplished something, my first vacation on my own, paid with my own money and what not.
  5. I was at Knott's for most of the week and I traveled out there alone for the first time -,- A Knott's scareactor and his gf gave me a place to stay during my visit and I got to spent a full day at the park along with another friend from there. (Haunt was the main reason I went). Overall, the trip was awesome. Getting to see some friends and made all new ones too. During the day it was really really quiet, every ride I did were pretty much walk-on, including WindSeeker! _1017912 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr _1017879 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr _1017948 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr _1017916 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr _1018071 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr Other regular Knott's pics:http://www.flickr.com/photos/ki_faerie_wench/sets/72157628003786424/ For the Haunt..it was AWESOME. I was actually amazed at the energy the scareactors all over had considering its so late in the season and they work a far more hectic schedule. My favorite having to be Endgames, it was loud, and full of energy and scareactors really heavy into their roles. Doll Factory while good, I can tell its seen its better days and time for it to be laid to rest. :/ The scare zones talent were on top of their game as well and sadly a few know too much of my weaknesses so I had multiple vampires in Necropolis chasing me all at once me getting scared to the point of taking off running says a lot considering its very hard to do. It was also good seeing some friends I don't get to see often and plus made plenty of new ones. now I wanna go back to Cali..I actually got accustomed to their weather >.> Some Haunt pics _1018169 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr IMG_3884 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr IMG_3877 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr IMG_3889 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr IMG_3897 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr Other Knott's Haunt pics: http://www.facebook....=1&l=05dd4271c1
  6. No it is free with admission. There is the no re-entry after 7PM though, so if you are at the park during day and for whatever reason decide to leave and come back, you have to pay to be back in if I remember right.
  7. What doesn't scare you can be the very thing that can send someone else high stepping for the nearest exit.
  8. I have some on my flickr. Its mostly Nightmare Alley though:http://www.flickr.com/photos/ki_faerie_wench/sets/72157627831521781/with/6271636588/
  9. I don't like people having these as personal pets either cause you have a lot of ignorant people out there who know nothing about animals and animal behavior. Of course they're cute as babies, but babies get bigger.
  10. FYI, from the words of the Sheriff when he was on TV just awhile ago, the tiger ran from them when it was shot with the tranquilizer so the cops shot the poor thing to death. I think the cops were trigger happy cause sounds like the wolves were shot while they were still on property and wolves are very skittish animals for the most part to begin with, they would rather not have anything to do with humans. If its the same Thompson my dad often spoke of, he used to live in Hamilton with tigers near where I grew up. He moved away to get away from the pesky neighbors.
  11. That makes me sick cops started shooting the animals...glad Columbus Zoo is on it and I hope they can round them up, especially the tigers since there isn't many of them left in the wild
  12. The link doesn't work for me...might be my internet. The main building for Peters Cartridge is more behind the Son of Beast than The Beast. The catwalks that used to connect to other buildings go practically nowhere now.
  13. That is Peters Cartridge Company. I got some pictures of it for those who probably never got a look at it http://www.flickr.com/photos/ki_faerie_wench/sets/72157624146068809/
  14. Thank you And no microphones were present, I'm pretty sure. They were quite funny!
  15. Thank you Avatar I guess it was good thing I found my dads camcorder tripod that adjusts to just about any height.. I might try that out. I know Knott's allows them, but does KI? Tripods I mean.
  16. Me along with my mom and brother went yesterday instead of KI. I think the last time I actually been to it was when I was a little kid...so what was there then I don't remember. I been warned ahead of time it is on the pricey side and not many rides (which I didn't really care) I did find myself enjoying the whole theatre aspect at the Faire with all the costumes and makeup workers had on. One of the most enjoyable attractions there for me (besides the Jousting) was the Museum of torture devices Anyway...PICTURES (well I'm still working on the Jousting pictures ) Image34 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr _1017587 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr Image37 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr _1017694 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr _1017684 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr Rest of the album:http://www.flickr.com/photos/ki_faerie_wench/sets/72157627723719635/ Comments welcome! I need to visit KI Haunt soon, at least once before I go to Knott's. Anyone got any advice with shooting a DSLR in a dark setting? I rather use KI Haunt as the test subject so I don't look like a fool in front of my friends at Knotts playing with the camera a bunch >.> I learned slow shutter speed results in blurry images and faster tends to be darker..
  17. Great...a image of me. Other than that, pretty cool.
  18. I dunno when I'll be going to KI Haunt, but I know for sure I'll be at Knott's Haunt
  19. I actually like this better than the unlimited they do for the rides.
  20. KI themselves spoke of expanding DA, so...that's probably what's going on.
  21. 2009 Addition: Slaughter House Removed: Work Site Also in 2009 Red beards got moved from its location in River Town to Oktoberfest renamed as Cut Throat Cove 2010 Addition: Wolf Pack Removed: None.
  22. But Delirium was built during the Paramount years So that's technically not really copying a sister park there.
  23. I might sound shallow but I'd rather loose a coaster at CP as opposed to the Paddlewheel Boats. Tho I miss the old outdrive boats they used to have prior to 1998.
