  1. I'm sure the trains remained where they were when it happened.
  2. It's interesting the first couple minutes, until you head for the front gate and see a line of people stretching from guest relations to the fountains. I been through a total 3 power outages there >.>
  3. They were flippin adorable lol! Little tuxedos I'm not surprised at all, lol. Farmer I know had a 23 year old declawed cat that was pretty darn good mouser. It was neat!
  4. Nah I was on break and 2 slices in front of me. I felt I could live on just one so I tore it up and gave the pieces away Sometimes I actually like the pizza >.>
  5. I gave my pizza up too a group of kittens at the park once.. lol.
  6. I actually rescued two snakes at KI... and had a fawn attempt to follow me out behind Beast
  7. I used to see deer alot when I worked in park services... and that was before Diamondback. They seem to be less frequent since that went up :\ A supervisor I worked for had a close encounter with a skunk.. mistaken it for a garbage bag (it was after close), good thing he didn't scare the poor skunk. There are cats that live in and around KI as well.
  8. When did they officially shut down Phantom Theater? I remember riding it towards the end of June back in 02 and I went back to the park with my cousins on the final day of the season and it was heavy construction.. I'd seriously take Phantom Theater over both Scooby and Boo Hill...but thought Boo Hill was better than Scooby
  9. Ugh the comments on the US coverage link...
  10. I love your input in that thread :)

  11. I actually like this idea..
  12. That's what I was basically trying to say. This is kind of disrespectful to Jackson as he just wanted advice and trip tips. If Millennium wants to discuss this topic I suggest he start a new thread. I'm stuck in bed, so I can debate all day.
  13. I happen to actually like Sea World. Always have. Those animals live the high life compared to those who have to hunt/fight for their own food But this is not the place for that sort of debate.
  14. Do you know when next month your going? We leave at the end of next week for Orlando, getting multi day tickets to there and Universal and Aquatica
  15. I actually did go to the Cincinnati Zoo recently. I chose to take it easy and not stay long so I purposely remained in the same area the entire time between the cats, polar bears and the sea lions. It did rain on us... so I took the chance to sit at underwater viewing just observing the sea lions playing in the rain. Great see both of them were active. When it began to clear up, I settled and sat down at the polar bear exhibit. Whilst with the bears, I got to witness a slight scuffle between all 3 of them, to the point Little One (the male) ran Berit (one of the females) off Sea lions The Polar bears Pea**** (<-----lol KIC automatically censor that...its those crazy birds that walk loose) Rest here
  16. I've heard some wild stories about I305, thanks for the comparisons I'm willing to try anything once, I can treat them like I treat Mantis, if I must. Fewer rides, the better.
  17. Forgot to mention, those are actually pretty decent pictures. By the looks of it, looks to have been a pretty muggy day?
  18. ^FYI a bunch of coasters does not mean better. I enjoy places like Busch Gardens more than KI due to the overall experience (theming, entertainment, atmosphere, etc) even.
  19. Is there a huge difference between DB and (Carowinds) Intimidator? No I have not been to Carowinds, but they look somewhat similar. Which by I mean, large lift hill, lots of airtime, and high intensity curves(Helix) and the only big difference might be would where the coaster sits in the park and/or theming. My example for this is, I have rode Raptor, and its a great Inverted coaster and I have been on Alpengeist at BG. The themeing is much better, but the ride itself is pretty much basic elements(Large loop, cobra roll, corkscrew, barrel roll) The rides are pretty much the same, but like I said, the theming with Alpengeist. Both coasters are really fun, but I prefer Alpengeist. I assume you didn't mean to quote me? lol I have yet to try out Intimidator and I305, really want to. I love Diamondback, but I prefer Magnum to it Between KD and BG? BG all the effin way, lol.
  20. I shall give Terpy a cookie, problem there it might be a month late .___.
  21. I actually enjoy reading TR's and seeing photos of the less talked about parks more than KI or CP at times. Great to see Thunderhawk appears to be doing well. Miss it here in Ohio... Lovely photos! I have a Canon Powershot as well, great handy smaller camera. I only use my Olympus SLR when I plan on not doing any rides outside the train.
  22. The are putting back the loop on the SOB? AWESOME! Can not wait to tell everyone and WIKI it. The Dippin' Dots guy told me. He also told me they would be putting one of the loops from The Vortex on the regular Beast. (not really) Oh great, the return of the Dippin' Dots guy. Where he been hiding at?
  23. That picture was funny tho. Not as bad as the one posted earlier in the thread still Yeah to the point they don't even use that area anymore. I miss the Swamp 9__6
  24. I want Reflection lake back at Knotts
