  1. ...Overlord not enough of an icon for you? Every CF park, minus MiA, has one.
  2. I actually noticed that this year. Felt kind of irritated when I saw KI's twitter babbling on 4th season of Haunt! I was thinking myself the same "....you know its technically 10 years if you acknowledge the (glory) FearFest years". I still view the event as FearFest... aside from the attraction names and few prostetics makeup on some actors, it is FearFest. Probably the only real improvement is how the maze qlines are handled, if you remember FF 03 and 04 when the lines for Curse of the Crypt, Maze of Madness, Psycho Path hit each other and it was this mass of people in the walkway. Several I spoke to had no clue what they were in line for. Universal? To much acting, not enough scaring. I love Knott's Haunt, don't like Universal Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights. Honestly Haunt at Knotts, the talent are a lot more fun.
  3. buuuuuuuuuck buck buck buuuuuuuuuck

  4. RaptorGuy: Take a chill pill, and grow up. A tantrum won't get you anywhere. I love the Haunt, but I feel like its better off going back the direction of Fearfest. Knott's has the best Haunt imo on the chain. Even they don't use the gore in the quantities KI does.
  5. Looks sweet... (everyone ignore me, I'm a major minority with the Busch parks) but I don't want to think Busch Gardens as a coaster park, I prefer the animals.
  6. Thank you kjkjkj I can not answer any questions about Wolf Pack only because I never went through it... tho most common thing I hear is about how short it is.
  7. The line was about 2 and a half hours for a good while last night..
  8. Yes, its at SOB's station.. Line for it last night was yikes >.>
  9. I went to KI yesterday to visit Haunt and had my mom with me. (oh boy! aha) It was her first experience at a Haunt since Cedar Point Halloweekends in 1998. For as crowded as it was, I actually had fun. Tho was dishearten at the amount of monsters on the streets.. Only mazes I did were Club Blood and Death Row (alone) and Carnevil (with mom) My mom was terrified in Carnevil. Last haunted house she ever been in was CP Cemetery at Halloweekends all the way back in 1998 I had to tug her along through a lot of the house, course I can't help but die of laughter. I know from work as a Haunt monster, every night there will be that guest who gave us a humerus time and it kind of sticks out in our mind all night, bet my mom was that guest for Carnevil, lol. I caught a showing of Half Pint brawlers (and got some pics) Really am not sure what to make of it quite yet.. Here are my FAVORITE pics that I was actually proud of, lol. Of the Overlord, what I love about this is how the Eiffel Tower is looming in the background To those who know me, this should not be a surprise Rest here:http://www.flickr.com/photos/ki_faerie_wench/sets/72157625006055643/
  10. ^lol Sometimes I wish the Crypt would just be converted to a Haunt... leave the ride as it and just turn it into a scare experience like Knotts used to with Jaguar (even tho that sucked imo)
  11. They covered several, even the shake n bake at the front gate...
  12. Usually between 8 and 10. At about 11 things thin out, but thats some of the Haunts, dunno bout the rides. Probably bout the same seeing as Diamondback usually more quiet by midnight from what I saw/heard from Tombstone last yr.(screaming wise)
  13. Umm, yes they have. I'm going on Saturday
  14. Hills at Dollywood and Cincinnati Zoo are the perfect workout for me >.> I don't need a stair climber when I can use Flight Deck. (sorry been years since I been to Hershey and Dorney and have yet to go to Holiday World lol)
  15. Marilyn Manson - This is Halloween ...for me sometimes Beautiful People as well, dunno why
  16. I have, and I thought it was because the attitude of others who think their s**t don't stink. That was the turnoff for me.
  17. ^I'm gonna have to agree there ^ As far as the press and media concerned, I think SeaWorld did in fact take a far greater beating over Dawn Brancheau's death. Just sayin'.
  18. ^...and when I was at SeaWorld in July, I was amazed at line cutters at Manta and Kraken. My 9 yr old niece hollered line jumper and the teenage cutters got back behind us, lol. And then the gum build-up at the entrance of Kraken..
  19. Their No Pet Policy that was implanted at Fort Wilderness never left me, nor the family. And their treatment to my grandparents as a result. A bad taste that may never leave my mouth. Funny how it was changed just weeks after we left, appears we were the final straw in a long line of complaints. Grandpa chimed "I'm ready to go back to Cedar Point" constantly his last visit Disney World ever before he left this world. Then there were the issues in 08 and back in July surrounding my non verbal autistic brother, I rather not put on public boards. Heck, KI customer service was better about my brother than Disney was. I spent maybe 2 hours at magic Kingdom before I spent the rest of the vacation at SeaWorld, happily I must add. Yeah, I'm one person in thousands I expect someone to say. My opinion, no one can change it.
  20. I know I posted SFMM and SFDK 2 years ago, but I'll update it. Disney World.
  21. Define big coaster? Like... first giant coaster you been on after riding nothing but kiddie coasters or...? If so... mine was Gemini when I was about 7.. before that I rode nothing else but Jr Gemini.
  22. Eh the 3D movie, I never counted since a lot of places have it, even outside the CF chain. Dollywood was playing what I thought was a better version
  23. Quite a few years? Stuff been there since before I was born XP Cedar Point tho, is CF's "crown jewel" Tho CP isn't a whole lot better as a lot of theming had left there as well (Disaster Transport, the dragon/sea monster characters in the Iron Dragon lagoon, etc)
  24. I actually noticed that myself. Part of me is surprised, part of me isn't, lol! I'm just happy Spongebob is gone. I always liked the Peanuts gang since I was a kid, as well as HB and Berenstein Bears, and feel lucky I got to experience all 3 themes in a park environment XP All I need is to hear FLASHBEAGLE play in the park, and my life is complete. bwuahahahaha
