Weird... with the exception of the one on Rivertown Junction, I had never noticed any other weather vanes. Thanks for the photos, Ty.

All you can eat. Good prices. Good food. Where else?

You know, some people worked hard on that instructional video that tells you to press your feet against the bottom of the restraint when wearing flip flops.
-
I figured it out by virtue of the context clues in your post, but I didn't know... and I wouldn't admit to being a youngun...
-
Dave Mandt would be another excellent choice.

Or: Craig Ross Ruth Voss (posthumously)

According to Kings Island's Official Twitter, the Class of 2009 inductees into the Kings Island Walk of Fame will be announced in the next few days. The induction ceremony will be held on Saturday, Sept 5th. Who do you guys think will be inducted this year? I'm pulling for Bill Mefford.

THIS FRIDAY! "Riding History To The Limits"!
BoddaH1994 replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
Christmas came a little early this year. http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?...mp;#entry329899 -
Nearly a year in the making, "Riding History to the Limits," the brainchild project of CET Cincinnati's Nate Byrum is finally available for you to enjoy! Explore the history of Kings Island with facts, footage and photos that have rarely been seen by the public in this 90 minute feature length documentary! Synopsis: As early as 1964, the design and concept of a groundbreaking amusement park was growing in the mind of an ambitious young man by the name of Gary Wachs. Until this time modern amusement parks were leaving roller coasters and other thrill rides out of their parks. Gary Wachs knew that bringing back the thrill to amusement parks was a path that would be as profitable as it was popular in the future of entertainment. After a five year struggle, Gary finally got to see his dream materialize and eventually opened to the public in 1972, Kings Island. In this program, we sit down with Gary to learn first hand how Kings Island went from a glimmer in Gary’s eye, to the multi-million dollar park it is today. We will tell you how Gary brought back the rollercoaster to parks in the United States, and how Disney played a roll in the birth of this park. Kings Island has set a precedent in the American amusement park industry and has given millions of park goer’s memories that will last a lifetime. This program combines old film footage, photographs taken by Rick Norton and other patrons of the park, and new footage. Interviews include: Gary Wachs, Dennis Speigel, Charles Meechem, Jack Rouse, Don Helbig, Carmen Electra, Walter and Nancy Duff, Barry Williams, and Michael Lookingland. Yes, but likely not until the Spring. You guys will absolutely flip when you see this. This isn't a regular "Park opened in '72, Top Gun was Built in '93" deal - this is the REAL DEAL. This is how Kings Island came to be from the people who helped build it. There are facts and information in this video that will knock your socks off! -

Does that apply just to KI-only passes or to Platinum passes as well? I'm guessing that's all passes.

Halloween Haunt Dates and Hours (more info)
BoddaH1994 replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
Yep - For those of you who may have missed the other thread, the park nixed the closing for an hour deal. So Haunt will begin at 7:00 and the park will be open throughout. -
I was informed that Halloween Haunt will not be included with the 2010 season pass.
-
You can't wait two more days? Oh poo... I've said too much...
-
I have just been informed of the following: Kings Island will NOT be closing at 6:00p and reopening at 7:00p on the days where Halloween Haunt occurs on Saturdays and Sundays this October. Also, special VIP tour packages, similar to the current VIP tours, will be available during the Haunt festivities but will have some different benefits than what is available now. Details to come.
