  1. Our chili is the best! If you've only had it at Kings Island you need to try it at an actual Skyline.
  2. Nice pictures, I would Vortex is getting the same types of seat belts since Anaconda at Kings Dominion and Cyclone at Carowinds both got them. I for one like the idea of seatbelts on Vortex, just in case.
  3. Does anyone think it's possible that when they open up the International Street LaRosa's again that it'll be a full-service sitdown restaurant?
  4. I think beer prices may also have something to do with them not wanted people drinking too much leading to more disorderly guests.
  5. Nothing says Oktoberfest like pizza and Chinese food... I agree with you, it would be really nice to see the Festhaus start serving German food again. The Chinese restaurant should've gone on International Street. But for now you can add the new Panda Express to the list of misplaced rides and restaurants at Kings Island With that being said though the rest of the new places look to be welcome additions.
  6. pkiridesmaint, Those pictures are awesome, I can't wait to see the rest!
  7. But are you assuming that it's false? Assuming what's false?
  8. Wikipedia can be edited by anyone who is browsing the web and feels like changing it, so I wouldn't take everything you see there as the truth.
  9. I can tell you what's next. KI will have an annual release which will make your tummy smile. That sounds interesting... Could you give us an estimate on how long it'll be till we know?
  10. If only one part of the train is smooth how long do the lines get for the front?
  11. Alright let's get back on topic?
  12. Seems like there is going to be increase of characters this year.
  13. Great pictures, I can't wait to get to the park and ride that thing!
  14. Why do you end all your sentences with question marks?
  15. I misread it, I thought it said what year is this? -But sure, Delirium13 I'll be here all week.
  16. ^ Exactly Kings Island and Disney World will never be competitors because they attract a completely different demographic. Kings Island's being mainly regional and Disney's being nation/worldwide.
  17. I agree...I think that its way too expensive to spend the day walking around and waiting in 2 and 1/2 hour lines to ride the three or four different thrill rides. Disney World isn't all about having the tallest and fastest rides out there. It's about guest experience. The rides have superb theming, the shows are great, the scenery is unbelievable, and so is the food. It's the same thing with Universal. They offer unique experiences. But back on topic, I think Kings Island has one of the coolest entrances out there. The fountains with the tower at the end and the shops on each side (now only if the shops were worthwhile and weren't the same thing in each one). I hope they keep the music the way it is with the instrumental music. It's relaxing and adds to the overall feel of Intenational Street.
  18. I agree that you don't have to be extremely gory to be scary, but at any hauted house you're going to see some. I'm not a huge fan of all the blood and gore but I didn't find the level of it at FearFest last year to be that bad. The worst of it was in the haunted houses, so it wasn't like the dismembered heads were hanging around Nick Universe or anything.
  19. It's a Halloween event that is designed to be scary and in some places gory. They have warnings. If you don't like it you don't have to go. There are a lot of Halloween events that are way worse when it comes to gore and what not. I actually encourage them to push the envelope a little more this year. But I do think the idea of an 11 year-old putting on a haunted house with Santa in an electric chair with an elf pulling the lever is very, very disturbing.
  20. I loved riding them too, and agree that Italian Job should've been in a different place.
  21. Actually the line may have had something to do with the capacity too. I'm not sure but I don't think the Antique Cars had that high of capacity. But they were very popular too.
  22. ^Agreed. I may not have much to contribute because unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) I haven't had a supernatural in the park, but I find all the stories, some more believable than others, to be enjoyable to read. SOB TOM, I really enjoy hearing what you have to say on the topic because you seem to know a lot so keep the stories coming.
