Cirque Dreams Debuting at SFoT in '07

If they can make this work it would be another step in the right direction. I hope they can. This would be a cool addition to a park. -
PKICentral.com Flyover in the Fall

Great update! Those pictures are great.(Both sets of pictures Dane's and Combat's) -
Kings Island doesn't need any more mountains in it.
-
I don't know if this is new or not but there is no mention of Paramount in any of their names.

I'm just saying what I saw that night, it was a rainy night and seemed like an off night throughout the whole park. 5 might have been and exaggeration, but I wouldn't say that there were more than 10 in there. Anyways thats not the worst thing that night I only saw two-three people in CornStalkers and that's not an exaggeration. I don't know if they were on break or what. They seemed understaffed that night. I don't doubt that they had 25 people most of the time but I know the number was a little far from that when I went last year. I haven't gone this year, but I am planning too Saturday and I hope that it is better and I hope that it makes me jump more than the one time I did last year (and I get startled/scared pretty easily). I'll post a report after I go.
-
Last year I went through and thought it was a waste of time there was a maximum of 5 people in there trying to scare you, icluding the headless horseman who did nothing. The idea is a good one but it wasn't executed good. I don't know if it has been improved this year or not.

You're right they did, I forgot about that.Of course Nights of Fire took place after Cedar Fair took over so technically...
-
That's great news, I really like the pictures of the tower lit up during Winterfest and I had hoped that they would use them on regular nights. I think this is an early sign of Cedar Fair improving the atmosphere of the park. (And yes I know the lights were installed before Cedar Fair bought the park, but they hadn't been used this whole season.)

That picture of the Indians on the hill with the power lines in the background is kinda funny.

Convert it into a nice sit down restaurant, I mean it's big enough.

Fright by Night, Fun by Day
Delirium13 replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
Maybe they decided that they were pretty similar and could be easily work into one scarezone. It's pretty much the same concept for both, things are ok until something goes terribly wrong, so maybe Worksite may be longer than originally planned so that it now includes some of Wasteland built in? It's possible, but I don't know. -
Sounds like a disturbing way to ruin someones childhood. I don't like the idea.
-
I think the Paramount story would make a good scare zone/ haunted maze for Fear Fest even though it's too late for that this year.
-
^I never liked how it was in the Festhaus.
-
I voted Sleepy Hollow. It doesn't necessarily have to be to the movie, I just like the creepy town in the woods theme.
-
A renovation of the station would be VERY nice.
-
I meant the paint job.
-
^Other than the fact that the whole thing needs a lot of TLC, especially the track itself. But I actually really enjoy Top Gun and agree they should open the queue area under the station again and add the effects again to add to the ride experience, especially since it is such a short, but fun, ride.

When is Fear Fest Dry Run this Year?

Son of Beast To Be Partly Rebuilt
Delirium13 replied to The Interpreter's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
Do they come to just look at it? Because most of the time the line is relatively short. And no I'm not a SoB basher, I actually enjoy riding it, but to say that it is the biggest reason people come to the park couldn't be farther from the truth. -
The way they did the line last year for Psycho Path was terrible, Since there were so many people ahead of you you knew when they were going to jump out and where. It wasn't even scary. I guess they had already taken out the tunnel when I went through because I didn't have a choice. The only plus was the line moved faster.
-
But why would she just randomly bring it up when it's been closed for a year or so is the thing that is puzzling me.
-
Thanks for clearing that up!

Well Like I said before from what I read in Hauntguy's post I think Circus of Horrors may be moving to the Paramount Theater. Also what does it mean that Curse of the Crypt will be dark? Is it coming back? I hope so because I really like it the year I went through it.
