  1. There were animatronics of people that looked like they were working on the ship, since the station is supposed to be somewhat like an aircraft carrier. The small box room kind of things that look like small concession stands with the doors closed are where these people used to be or still are. 2. Really all that is left at Geauga Lake is the lift hill, the loop, and some supports in the parking lot. You can see some of the picture at Geauga Lake Today. (The latest update is at the bottom of the page, just look at the dates.)
  3. Oh so you can get in, but the rides and what not don't open till 10?
  4. After Cedar Fair took over last season didn't they start opening at 9 instead of 10? If they did why did they go back to opening at 10?
  5. Sure is. It just does not belong on the photos page on the PKI website. Why doesn't the picture they are talking about? It's from Kings Island.
  6. The Tallest, Fastest, and Only Stand-Up Wooden Roller coaster.
  7. Although I agree with your statement, the fountains do need a good paint job. But the post you quoted had nothing to do with that. Kind of offtopic, but here is a really nice picture of the Kings Island Eiffel Tower
  8. Coke is sold more per capita around the world. 'Offtopic'- But I have to say that The Colbert Report is a great show.
  9. But once again that wasn't the question. The question was "What could KI get to make it extremely unique?".Not, "What could they get to help them please guests and pay off their debt faster?"or "would the public notice if the coaster was a clone or not?".
  10. I wasn't saying it mattered to the public, all I was saying was that a unique coaster would make the park more unique because that was the question that was asked. And don't underestimate the General Public. If someone from out of town is coming to the park and they live near the park that has the clone of a coaster it may matter then. Also people remember coasters from trips they may have made in the past. But yes most will not notice if the ride is a clone or not. And clones coasters can be very fun, hence why the layout is used in numerous parks.
  11. A new rollercoaster that isn't a clone. To explain further, the most recent rollercoaster that they have installed that wasn't a clone of or extremely similar to another rollercoaster somewhere else is Son of Beast. And before that was Adventure Express, although I'm not completely sure. AE isn't a clone is it? A new coaster with a unique design would be a very nice and welcome addition.
  12. If they get steel venom they should take out the fountains and make the track run up the side of the Eiffel Tower............ Yeah, that was sarcasm.
  13. Coke is much better and tastes more unique, I hope they stay with Coca-Cola.
  14. I still would like to see the name Stealth make a comeback.
  15. If anyone wants to be in the new ice show.....click here!
  16. I don't think 90 minutes is that bad, especially for a Saturday night. And also I'm pretty sure that Carowinds has a haunted trail type thing like Physco Path, not sure what it's called, but I was wondering, do they did the continuous line thing that I can't stand like they do at Kings Island or not? 'Sorry, not trying to turn this into a FearFest/Scarowinds topic.
  17. I don't doubt that it gets crowded, but do the lines get outrageous like they can up here for FearFest (I'm talking 2+ hours). I just think if FearFest was an upcharge not as many people would bring their little kids making it a little less crowded. I could hardly believe some of the kids I saw at the night portion of FearFest this year.
  18. Sorry about that, I wasn't paying enough attention when I read the post. And about the location, I like how it looks from the outside of the park, I agree with that, I just don't like being so close to the edge of the park. it kind of kills the atmosphere, I know it's impssible to ahve one without the other and it isn't anything that bother me that bad. I guess I was just nit picking.
  19. Oh well nevertheless, it says its going to be improved. It would nice to see FearFest here at KI become an upcharge so that they could make it an even bigger, better, and more detailed haunted attraction, without the outrageous crowds.
  20. Also if you look at the description of Scarowinds it seems that it is going to be seeing some huge improvements, maybe making it more on the level of a certain scary farm?
  21. A lot of people seem to think FOF is also a good ride, and some also think the same about Top Gun and more. Maybe in your opinion they only gave us "two good rides and a money pit called SOB", but to others they have given us much more. Including the World's Best Kid's Area, 7 years running, a revamped waterpark and much more. Not to mention there are a few of us who enjoy that "money pit called SOB".
  22. I have to agree with that. On almost everyone of there themed rides and areas we were promised Disney and Universal type experiences and none of them lived up to those expectations.
  23. I wondered how they made Coke Zero taste like regular Coke (for the most part) in Coke Zero. I tried some when it first came out and for the most aprt it tasted just like a regular Coke, the only differec was that the flavors seemed kind of toned down so I still drink regular. But for those of you looking for somehting a litlle bit healtier, but still love the regular Coke taste, I highly recommend Coke Zero.
  24. I think IJ:ST is a fun ride, when the line isn't long. If the line is long you come off wanting more from a ride that doesn't feel nearly as long as they claim it is.
